  • @fixdeluxe1 That was my plan exactly. 0.0... We should team up.

  • LOL am I the only one who actually turned the volume down, when the annotation said "turn the volume up" ?

  • @hollywoodreamzgirl71

Hm, if you have to turn the volume down for this I guess some other videos make your speakers explode? =D

  • @SkallagrimNilsson LOL noo aha I was just scared something was gonna pop up :$

  • @hollywoodreamzgirl71

Ah, I see... always good to be cautious, the internet is full of ear rape. =D

  • In the even of a Zombie Apocalypse I would take a few rifles,a shotgun, lots of ammunition, lots of blades, lots of non-perishable food, water and other survival supplies, round up my family, ignore the NZ Army Mobilization Broadvcasts and go AWOL with my best friends and family up in the countryside and build a fort, then start up a farming, hunting and gathering colony with a small milita forces and a church.

  • @fixdeluxe1

A church, eh? Hmph... as long as it doesn't evolve into a theocracy (i.e. religious tyranny)...

Sorry for my skepticism, I just can't entirely suppress my allergic reaction to the word "church".

  • @SkallagrimNilsson It's alright,I accept anyone for any faith(or no faith).I would not let it turn into a theocracy, because it would most likely be a form of Militia Rule with everyone being a part of that Militia. There would be a head council of civilians elected each year to represent their wishes and oversee them.

    Remember,aim for the head!

  • @fixdeluxe1

Absolutely, free choice of religion / no religion is the way to go. Personally I view churches as representating the Church as religious institution, and since I have a problem with dogma, I'm not comfortable with them. But that's just me, no offense intended in any way.

I certainly wouldn't envy any leaders / rulers in such a scenario. Responsibility to shoot infected victims in the head while their loved ones are desperately begging for their lives to be spared...

  • @SkallagrimNilsson Yea I think the Catholic Church is especially bad at "enforcing" it's views and ways.I would allow people of other faiths and no faiths to exercise that and I might even learn a thing or two.

Yep,because unless there is a cure, someone has to do it!

  • I havent read the book but I foind it at Barns'N'Noble. I love Zombie or Xombie movies/games/roleplaying. I say Xombie because I just finished reading "XOMBIES: Apacolypse blues" and it was really good. I wanna do a Zombie Survival campaign with my buddies for D&D but first we need to finish our Morowind campaign that my friend (our DM) started.

  • Morrowind campaign? Nice idea. =)

I would also recommend the "All Flesh Must Be Eaten" source book. Quite a good and comprehensive take on zombies for roleplaying.

  • Jesus was the original zombie.

  • What a coincidence, I just bought both the Guide and World War Z a few weeks back. Both good reads, and I recommend WWZ if you're still interested. It's even more serious, that's what makes it so entertaining. Part of the humor is how he takes such a seemingly silly idea as zombies and tries to make the whole thing as realistic as possible, which he accomplishes in ways.

  • Yup, even though it's a joke, he put a lot of effort into making it realistic. If the Solanum virus actually existed, we would really need this book. ^_^

  • Books have their advantages though. Well, until Kindle and other ebook readers become cheaper, that is. =)

  • I got that book when it came out and I've read it a dozen times.

Theres an illustrated version of all the "undead encounters" in a seperate graphic novel that is really awesome.

The thing with the ZSG is that it prepares you for a lot of real life situations, simply substitute the undead for an attacker, an invader, etc.

  • Yep, there's lots of useful information in there, even though the topic is dry humor.

  • That book really rocks, even though I was only allowed to read parts of it since I otherwise would spoil the fun of the zombie role playing adventures. I mean, what fun is a horror scenario when you know exactly what to do in order to stay away from every possible danger? ;)

And I simply love when he puts on his undead make up... rrrh. Yes, I'm a freak!
