nba 2k7 definitely. I'm not so sure the graphics are better but the gameplay is. NBA Live has way better graphics - most the stars look just like themselves - but there is a motion delay that kills the gameplay.

live has been going towards an arcadish type style while 2k has stuck with the original, and might i add, BELIEVABLE, movements (eg. crossovers, dribbles, dunks..) of the players. I also feel that 2k sports has alot of room to improve on its, already, solid foundation... which makes it pretty scary... (0_o)

hmm, well you cant deny nba lives legacy, i mean it WAS the ultimate basketball simulation for years, but since the realease of live 2005 the over all game began to show signs of 'taking a step back'. the graphics were stretchy, the features were not as polished, and the only signifiicant change were pretty much the rosters. 2k sports is now at its prime and ever since its release of 2k6 it is by far the better game.

Live definately looks better as far as player models go. NbA 2k needs to fix how they move to make them look more realistic. They too floating. Fortunately for them live was garbage on the xbox 360 last year.But its not looking good for 2k this year. live stepped it up big time.Also did anyone notice the faces??? they don't look like they have any life in them.

You say how you won't play in the angles shown, but fail to mention that Live does the trailer the exact same way. 2k looks better, it plays better, it's just a flat out better game than Live. The sooner you realise Live is dead in the water, the better off you will be. Please consider the TRUE basketball game in 2k7. Fluff (which is all Live has going for it) can't cover up awful gameplay.

You're joking, right? Live is the one that needs to get their crap together with the player movements. Floating or skating across the floor isn't realistic. 2k has the movements down pat, and Live is in deep trouble this year. How did Live step it up this year? They added an ESPN ticker...WOW that is really going to make 2k really question if they are at the end. If you played 2k6, you would've seen how much life the players have in their faces, and it will be the same this year.
