  • America is the home of Satan he imposed his throne in the White House since its inception. The United States is without doubt the most hated country in the world but the solution is coming at the hands of God and then damn this nation will be destroyed in the name of God!

  • Colorado is full of idiots

  • So, Barack didn't do it, neither did McCain or Dubya or King Arthur. Even Jesus didn't do it, because here we are 2,000 years later, asking the same stupid question: "who's gonna save the world?" It's simple. YOU will, or you won't. It's in YOUR hands, and the hands of everyone else you know, and about 6 billion other people. Take responsibility for yourself, and then look out for your family, and your neighbor, and your country, and don't forget about the rest of humanity. Amen.

  • The US is no longer a Christian nation with more than half of the country's voters voted for a Muslim like Obama to be their President.

China, on the other hand, is no longer a communist nation, but increasingly becoming a Christian nation with more than 200 million of evangelical Christians & the number is still growing like wildfire.

  • @KATAERO1 if Obama is a muslim than we Muslims don't give a rats a** about him because we don't want Muslims show such a low self esteem. our religion is not a joke that someone can just go to church and pray to a man but be muslim in his heart. Others might deceive you but we Muslims are not scared to tell you that we are muslim. besides I am ok with him being a christian if that makes it any easy on you sir!

  • @pkpakhtun My point is the US is becoming more & more non-Christian nation & suffering the predictable negative consequences. The Bible prohibited borrowing as a nation & with good reason as the US is now in full-blown debt crisis which is threatening its very existence.

Being a Christian is to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for one's sin. The aim is to follow Him & obey His Word, so we can be like Him. Do you think Obama has anything in common with Jesus Christ?

  • @KATAERO1 i am not sure sir. but what I am sure of is that he is not muslim either. you know about your faith quiet well so I won't question you but to simply discredit him because he is a muslim is just rude to us muslims. you don't see us going around and being happy that a muslim is elected because lets be honest most muslims are not liberals and honestly I voted for bush on his first term. the only reason muslims voted for obama was because gop labeled us criminals.

  • @pkpakhtun I am originally from Thailand where minority Muslim Jihadists have murdered more than 5,000 people (mostly Buddhists) in the south of Thailand. So, Thailand's experience with Islam is awful. I have a friend who is a former Muslim from Egypt who showed me his Qu'ran showing verses advocating killing infidels, esp, Jews & Christians. Also, the killing of anyone who leave Islam for other religions. Can you explain me the rational behind such extreme acts of violence?

  • @KATAERO1 for real? you think i am stupid like your friend to believe that? or is that a lie that you christians spread? show me the verses from quran and come back with full homework. thats the problem with you christians we muslims are taught to respect jesus christ but you guys utter non sense without any research about our faith. I am sure we have knuckle heads in our religion who distort and fit idealogies to benefit themselves and make us look bad.

  • @pkpakhtun Yes, for real. "O believers, take no Jews and Christians as friends; they are friends of each other. Those of you who make them his friends is one of them. God does not guide an unjust people." (Surah 5:54)

"Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme." (Surah 8:39)

"But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever you find them." (Surah 4:89)

  • @KATAERO1 and what do you say about genesis. "God kills everyone (men, women, children, infants, newborns) in Sodom and Gomorrah by raining "fire and brimstone from the Lord out of heaven." Well, almost everyone -- he spares the "just and righteous" Lot and his family. 19:24"

  • @pkpakhtun So, who do you think Jesus is? And what kind of a "man" born of a virgin anyway? Even Muhammed wasn't born of a virgin, right?

The former Egyptian Muslim turn Christian evangelist friend I'm talking about is Daniel Massieh. He was kind enough to show me the Qu'ran & translating those murderous verses from Arabic to English for me. You can watch him on YouTube too.

  • @KATAERO1 we believe in the virgin birth of jesus. so what if muhammad didn't have a virgin birth he stil thought to believe in jesus, moses and abraham. apparently you have one idiot that changed his religion without knowing anything about islam. thousands of christian covert to islam every year. maybe you shoudl watch those videos. I have already seen those videos and they dont make any sense what so ever. We are not that in secure about our religion and we know whats true thanks though :P

  • @pkpakhtun What kind of Man that can heal all kinds of sickness, open the eyes of the blind, resurrect dead people, including Himself after being dead for 3 days, walking on water, calming storm, etc?

Did Muhammed do any of those things? If not, why not? Talk is cheap but action is precious, right?

  • @KATAERO1 talk is cheap like yours. we believe in all the powers he had. what are you trying to prove? that he is son of a God? seriously? God gave power to moses to split the sea, why not worship him? they were sent from God to teach us humanity and not worship them. that is not monotheistic approach. please dont say you believe in one god because you wouldnt make sense. Muhammad taught us to not ask from a middle men like you christians do. so thats my personal belief. thanks for asking!

  • @pkpakhtun Well, Moses died but didn't resurrect, did he? The same with Muhammad & all the prophets, however, Jesus died but resurrected on the 3rd day as He said. And that set Jesus apart from the prophets, as the only begotten Son of God. Yeah, talk is cheap, but action is precious!

God destroyed the wicked but spared the righteous & will give salvation & eternal life to those who love Him through His only Son, Jesus Christ. I guess God is still the same yesterday, today & forever. Amen.

  • @KATAERO1 Aha found ya. arguing again aren't we? did you forget the last time we debated you couldn't answer my question which was " how do you know the bible is the word of god?" but instead you tell me only i can prove it to be so? funny how when we first debated you were so convinced that it really is the word of god and yet with further pressing you admit that believing it is the word of god is subject to subjectivity and you justify an immoral act because it was "economic" back then...Wow

  • @HalcyonAug I didn't know you're looking for me. Greeting!

In John 18:37, Jesus said "...For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."

The Bible is the Word of God because it changes people's lives (your truly included) from bad to good, regardless of the mess they're in, including terrorists, criminals & ordinary people like you & me. Can you tell me what book can do this?

  • @KATAERO1@ uhm "Can you tell me what book can do this?" every other religious book does that too

"About slavery, God is interested in delivering our souls, "

so god permits a human being to own a human being?

you missed the point entirely because this is not about god's interest in delivering our souls

but the immoral act which god condones "how can you find the true meaning & purpose of your existence?"

well I certainly live my life to the fullest that I can and I don't believe in god

  • @Hal Have you heard of Tass Saada or Mosab Hassan Yousef or Walid Shoebat & countless more of them who turned their lives around from extreme violence of terrorism to the love of God in Jesus Christ, through His Word in the Bible? Now, can you show me the other "book" that can do this?

God neither invented nor condoned human slavery. Remember, God never put anyone into bondage of slavery. It's human beings who do. To wipe out slavery mean wiping mankind altogether. Is that what you want?

  • @KATAERO1 "God neither invented nor condoned human slavery." wow you just said he put up with it for a time because it was part of the economy. another contradiction.

, "can there be any kind of law without a Lawgiver?"

so because we do not know what this "lawgiver" is it is god?

god of the gaps. for all we know it could be harry potter who gave that law

you ask "who" gave that law and already assume that it is already an all powerful being

what if it was a "what" creates those laws?

  • @Halc As I said, man 1st put himself under slavery of sin, then he put it on his fellow man & mankind has been in its vicious cycle ever sine. That's why God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to break that vicious cycle, which cost Him His life to set us free. That's why Christians have been at the forefront of fighting against slavery all over the world. Did you know that human slavery is still alive & well today in certain part of Africa? So, what do you have to say about that?

  • @HalcyonAugust2 In Genesis 1:1, it said "God created the heavens and the earth." Whether you believe it or not has nothing to do with Him but with your eternal destiny. Scientists are yet to wrap their finite minds around the infinite universe, but they discovered a set of physical law governing it. As Genesis 1:1 said God created it & those physical laws gave us clues on how He did it. That's all! In addition, hey now think the universe is governed by invisible called Dark Matter.

  • (con) Why do you think God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, into the world? Is it to deliver sinners like you & me from being slaves of sin? Do you think it's immoral to be slaves of substance abuses, prostitution, gambling, crimes, etc? It's why Jesus came to set us free from those evil things.

What do you mean by "live my life to the fullest that I can?" Does "the fullest" mean eternity? If not, how can it be "the fullest?"

  • (con) Can a book full of lies do this or only the Book full of grace & truth, which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord & Savior? As I said, only you yourself can prove this by choosing to believe whether God exists or not. If God doesn't exist & so does His Word, then who cares, right? But then, how can you find the true meaning & purpose of your existence? So far, the Bible is the only Book that describes how everything came to be & how you fit into it, either negatively or positively.

  • @KATAERO1 "The Bible is the Word of God because it changes people's lives"

science changes peoples lives too is that good's word? what about medicine is that as well? "it doesn't have anything to do with whether God exists or not, as He always exists."

well man can neither energy can neither be created nor destroyed energy always existed so is that god?

Only i can prove if the bible is the word of god if i believe it to be?

Whether I will believe it or not if it was trth it will alwys b trth

  • @HalcyonAugust2 Science can both benefit & harm us at the same time, depending on how we choose to use it. Right now, mankind has enough "Science" to wipe itself off the face of the earth through the use of WMDs, hasn't it? Now, you can pull a trigger to kill someone halfway around the world through the use of UCAV. That's what is going on in Afghanistan. The problem is not Science but mankind itself. Biology can bring both progress in medicine or WMDs (germ warfare). Get my drip?

  • @HalcyonAugust2 The Law of Thermodynamic is just one of many physical laws governing the physical universe that man has discovered so far. However, can there be any kind of law without a Lawgiver? So, who created those laws or how it came to be?

Didn't your "truth" requires belief also? You must have reasons to believe or not to believe in something, don't you? The question here is how your belief affect your life.

  • @KATAERO1 you also turned the question around by saying "how do you know it is not the word of god?" well have you demonstrated and proved it to be sir? god how old are you again? im 18 but i sure as hell think logically more than you with regards to this matter. Your promoting a belief which you do not understand and claiming it to be truth yet have no proof as to why it is. and to add your vile justification of slavery because it was part of the economy back then. You sir are amazing.

  • So, how old is God? In Genesis 1:1, God said "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." So, He already existed even before He created the universe. Einstein discovered space & time continuing, in relation with mass & energy (E=MC-squared). So, do you think the Creator God is inside or rather outside His Creation when He created it? That's why when Moses asked what was His name, He replied "I AM WHO I AM." It implied He exists outside space & time, a realm we call eternity.

  • @KATAERO1 but sad to say your "truth" requires belief because as stated by james randi "

"No amount of belief will make anything a fact"

So how did you know god always existed?

  • @HalcyonAugust If believing in whatever you believe now makes you happy & fulfilled & I'm happy for you & there is nothing Jesus Christ can do for you because you're happy & complete without Him.

In Proverb 8:17, God said "I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me." & what do you think Jesus meant in Matt 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds..?"

  • @KATAERO1 your god is receding as science advances.

1st he was up in the sky but when aviation was at hand whoops no sky daddy

2nd he was outside of earth then when we had astronauts whoops no sky daddy

3rd now you say he is outside of space and time?

you keep pushing and pushing him further

science will prevail religion in due time will vanish

again with biblical verses. give me one good reason why i should believe those verses?

  • @HalcyonAugust2 It doesn't matter how much science advances, eternal life is simply unattainable & we cannot live beyond 120 yrs old. Scientific progress improves our standard of living but we'll all assume room temp sooner or later. Do you know why we die?

The 1st airplane was invented by 2 Christian brothers, sons of a pastor. The most powerful rocket capable of sending men the Moon was invented by a German-born Christian, who said the followings. (con)

  • @KATAERO1 Oh and christians also persecuted thousands of people. what does that say about christianity?

religion without science is blind? of course religion is BS thats why it's blind without science

you can talk all you want but as long as you have not proved that the bible is the word of god and your god is real then everything you are talking about is hogwash

  • @HalcyonAugust2 I'm a Christian because I believe in Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, the Son of God & I want to be like Him through His Word in the Bible & follow Him to His heavenly kingdom when I leave this world sooner or later, one way or another. So I don't know what you're talking about referring to "christians also persecute thousands of people?" Did Jesus Christ persecute thousands of people? That's what Christianity is all about. It's all about Jesus, the Son of God.

  • @HalcyonAugu That's Einstein's words, not mine, but I happen to agree with him. Why do you think the Jewish religious leaders nailed Jesus to the cross? If Jesus couldn't prove to them of who He was even through His countless miracles, what makes you think I can? The only way to prove it is by choosing to believe in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord & Savior & see what happens. If nothing happens or you don't like the change, Hey, you can go back to be whoever you were, no string attached.

  • (con) Billions of people who chose to believe in Jesus as their personal Lord & Savior, all got the same results of being filled with God's love, peace, joy, forgiveness, gentleness, self-control, etc. And whatever happens to them can happen to you. The question is whether you want to be made whole full of those divine qualities or not. It's like you have to click the downloading icon to receive the download & unless you believe it's for real, you won't click it, right? It's the same thing.

  • "Scientific concepts exist only in the minds of men. Behind those concepts lies the reality which is being revealed to us but only by the grace of God." (Wernher Von Braun).

The Human Genome was successfully sequenced by another Christian geneticist. Modern medicine was invented by yet another Christian scientist & so on & so forth. Remember that "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind." (Albert Einstein)

  • @KATAERO1 "Behind those concepts lies the reality which is being revealed to us but only by the grace of God"

how did you know god revealed it?

    what is god?

    who is god?

    how do you know god?

    does god exist?

if so how do you know?

why is it that you choose the christian god and not zeus among all others?

  • @HalcyonAugust2 That's Wernher Von Braun's own words, not mine. His Saturn-V rocket is still the most powerful & reliable rocket system in the world. In fact, it never failed at all. The Soviet Union abandoned its manned mission to the Moon because its rocket never for once worked. It kept blowing up seconds from liftoff, while Von Braun's rockets worked like a clock. So, don't you think he knew what he was talking about?

  • (con) So, what is God? Everything you need to know about God is in the Bible, which said God is the Almighty, who always exists with neither the beginning nor ending, the Creator of the universe.

How do you know God? By knowing His only begotten Son, Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ.

Does God exist? It depend on who you think Jesus of Nazareth was/is. A myth, liar, loony, or Lord.

How do I know God exists? Because He revealed Himself to me & changed my life forever for the better.

  • @KATAERO1 "Everything you need to know about God is in the Bible, "

is the bible a reliable source?

" By knowing His only begotten Son, Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ."

and how did you know jesus was the son of god?

"It depend on who you think Jesus of Nazareth was/is. A myth, liar, loony, or Lord."

if i believe it to be a myth is it so? "Because He revealed Himself to me & changed my life forever for the better."

some people claim they have seen lepricauns does that mean they are real

  • @HalcyonAugust2 The Bible is the only source. The Word of God in the Bible connects man to His Creator.

By receiving Jesus Christ into your life with a simple childlike pray & then, wait & see how He reveals Himself to you & change your life in the most mysterious & marvelous way.

Whatever you believe Jesus of Nazareth to be will determine your eternal destiny. So, please, choose wisely.

I don't care about some people, this is your life, your eternal destiny. (con)

  • @KATAERO1 "The Word of God in the Bible connects man to His Creator."

how do you the bible is god's word? "the only purpose why you're born into this crazy world,"

i determine my purpose not your invisible sky daddy

  • @HalcyonAugu When you become a child of God, you'll know the Bible is the Word of God, spoken to your heart.

So, will your purpose end with your last breath? If yes, what's exactly is your purpose, when there is God's eternal purpose in your life freely available to you, but only if you want it.

After your last breath, you'll be starring at your "invisible sky daddy" in the face, then what? If He asked you why didn't you believe in Him while you're still alive, what would you say?

  • @KATAERO1 "When you become a child of God, you'll know the Bible is the Word of God"

but how do we truly know it is the word of god?

  • @HalcyonAugus You will know that only after you become a child of God, my friend. Do you want to become a child of God? What are you waiting for? What are you afraid of? God's gift of salvation & eternal life is waiting for you all along since the day you're born. It's a Gift from God & unless you want to be saved, God can't save you. Imagine you're shipwrecked floating in the ocean & a Boat came by & a Man kept throwing you a robe. But until you grab it, He can't pull you in to save you.

  • This is the only purpose why you're born into this crazy world, to seek your Maker. Think of it as a spiritual evolution. By believing in God through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, your spirit will be awaken & alive forever. God change you from the inside out. Right now, you are body & soul but your spirit still remains dormant & only Jesus Christ can wake your spirit up. This is what being born again is all about. Do you want to reach your God's given potential? Jesus is the only Way!

  • @KATAERO1 no

  • @MrTeddy236 "no" what?

  • @KATAERO1 its funny how you guys are arguing between islam and christianity, sorry i just chuckled a bit

  • @KATAERO1 and if you are not " a child of god" then the bible means nothing to u?

  • Yes, talking from my own experience. I tried to read the Bible many times before as an unbeliever & it made no sense to me whatsoever. But after I became a believer that the Word of God became alive in me. When you're born again in Christ, to become a child of God, the Holy Spirit will come & live in you, to be your helper, comforter & teacher to teach us all things, esp, the Bible. Your faithful heart, in essence, will become a living temple of God, not made with bricks & stones.

  • @KATAERO1 so basically your just telling me you believe it but you don't genuinely know if it's true?

  • @HalcyonAugust2 My mother knows I am incapable of changing myself, but I changed. There is only one reason why I changed because God exists, Jesus Christ is His only Son & He changed me, not to mention my 3 close personal encounters with God.

Although, I didn't see those biblical events took place with my own eyes, but I genuinely believe they happened as described in the Bible. This is what faith is all about. Either God exists or He doesn't. This is not about Him but YOU, my friend.

  • @KATAERO1 "Either God exists or He doesn't. This is not about Him but YOU"

if it's not about god then why believe it?

"There is only one reason why I changed because God exists"

how did you know he existed again?

"This is what faith is all about"

if i told you a china teapot was orbiting earth but to small to be seen by a telescope would you believe me?

  • @HalcyonAugust2 My point is when your soul separates from your body eventually, you'll know for sure that God exists. If by then, you've not known Jesus Christ & been born again in Him, you won't be able to enter the kingdom of God (heaven) & the only way for you to go is way down to the lake of fire in hell, created for Lucifer & his fellow fallen angels, along with people who choose to follow them there.

  • (con) When you know & are known by Jesus Christ, you will be born again in Him as He changes you in a twinkling of an eye, from the most inner part of your being, to make you fit for His heavenly kingdom. Being born again in Christ is such an unbelievable experience & you will unmistakably know it. The most noticeable part is that you will be filled with the Love of God in your heart. It's an assurance of God's promises of salvation & eternal life to you. After that, nothing else matters.

  • Whether that china teapot was orbiting the earth has nothing to do with you whatsoever. However, whether God exists or not & is who He said He was in the Bible has everything to do with why you're born into this crazy world, what you should live for & what's next after your life comes to an end eventually. Do you want to know who you really are, whether you're created or a product of endless series of accidents we called evolution? The only way to do that is to know & be known by your Creator.

  • @KATAERO1 "He said He was in the Bible"

spider man was on a comic book does it mean he exist?

"Whether that china teapot was orbiting the earth has nothing to do with you whatsoever"

true but you didn't answer my question would you believe me?

because this would be case of faith

  • @HalcyonAugust2 Spider-Man's character was created in the creative mind of Stan Lee only not too long ago. What do you think will become of Spider-Man's comic books in the next 2,000 yrs? Do you know that the oldest copy of the OT is between 700 - 300 BC? The fact that it survives intact & unchanged after more than 2,000 yrs is a miracle in itself.

So, what is your belief of Spider-Man & did it answer the deepest question of life of who you really are? (con)

  • (con) Before I believe that the teapot is doing at least 18,000 mph in orbit, I would ask you whose teapot was it & how did it put into orbit. There must be a reason how that teapot accelerated from 0 mph all the way to 18,000 mph.

The same thing with Jesus of Nazareth. Historians believed He once lived about 2,000 yrs ago, in the ancient nation of Israel under the Roman Empire. Watch PBS's Frontline's documentary, "From Jesus to Christ, the First Christians." (con)

  • @KATAERO1 "Before I believe that the teapot is doing at least 18,000 mph in orbit, I would ask you whose teapot was it & how did it put into orbit"

an angel put it there. now do you believe me?

" fact that it survives intact & unchanged "

i guess thats why we only have copies of copies of copies huh?

and to add the god's book is inconsistent ei?

  • @HalcyonAugust2 OK, so, who is that "angel" who put it there? Where did he come from?

The Dead Sea Scrolls are what I'm talking about. It's carbon-dated to be between 700 - 300 BC & its content is exactly the same as what we have in the OT Bible today with various translations, of course. What made you think the OT or even the NT were added on? I can't read neither Hebrew nor Greek, so I stick with the next best thing, which is NKJV.

  • @KATAERO1 ok why won't you believe me?

isn't faith about believing anything w/out proof?

it's funny because when i asked you if you believe me you think critically

    what happened to faith?

why is it that you think critically about this but not on your faith?

you see now our roles are switched

your the unbeliever and im the believer

now do you see my point?

  • @HalcyonAugust2 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrew 11:1 NKJV)

My faith in Jesus Christ comes from God. He gave me "the evidence of things not seen," so I can have "the substance of things hoped for."

I wish I could have pure faith without any of "the evidence of things not seen," however, because of I was born into a Buddhist family in Thailand, it's just not possible. (con)

  • I was taught Buddhism since early childhood to believe in things I could see, touch, hear & feel, so to believe in God without seeing any evidence is just impossible for me. That's why the Father 1st spoke to me, then His Holy Spirit came into me & finally, Jesus revealed Himself to me that He existed was real & who He said He was in the Bible & His deal was sealed.

Also to believe you whether that Mach-23 teapot exists or not has absolutely nothing to do with my or your eternal destiny.

  • @KATAERO1 "so to believe in God without seeing any evidence is just impossible for me."

no it isn't you certainly believe now is it impossible?

"I've done my homework, but have you done yours, my friend?"

    Oh I have buddy

so given blah blah blah your life blah god blah you believe

how does that explain biblical inconsistency?

how does that explain biblical contradiction?

how does that explain condoning of slavery?

  • @HalcyonAugust2 What inconsistency? What contradiction? What condone of slavery? Jesus said "And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32 NKJV) I am free indeed, but are you free, my friend? Are you still a slave of sin?

"Therefore, just through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spreads to all men, because all sinned." (Romans 5:12 NKJV)

Do you know what it feels like to be truly alive in Christ Jesus, our Lord & Savior?

  • @KATAERO1 . Im glad you asked

here are your biblical contradictions God is satisfied with his works 1 Gen 1 verse 31 God is dissatisfied with his works. Gen 6 verse 6 2. God dwells in chosen temples 2 Chron 7 verse12-16 God dwells not in temples Acts 7 verse 48 3. God dwells in light Tim 6 verse 16 God dwells in darkness

  • @HalcyonAugust2 Gen 1:31 said His Creation is initially "very good." So, I hope you know what happened between "very good" & the Great Flood? Gen 6:6 was the Father's brokenheart because of the increasing wickedness of His children, mankind.

2 Chron 7:12-16, Acts 7:48 (may I ask Psalm 139:8 too?) all are saying God is very where, including inside the faithful hearts of all believers, your truly included.

    I can't find Tim 6:16 though!

  • @KATAERO1 do you therefore agree that the bible has inconsistencies?

because you did not address any contradicting verse i mentioned

  • @HalcyonA No, I don't agree at all that the Bible has inconsistencies, as addressed earlier. God is infinite & eternal, which means whatever you think of Him, He is still infinitely greater than what you think.

The point here is whether He exists or not. I say He exists, is real & is who He said He was in the Bible. Do you think He is exist, why & why not?

I'm so sorry if I made you angry, but I've tried my best to explain to you the basis of my belief in God through His Son, Jesus Christ.

  • @KATAERO1 Im sorry I called you stupid it's just you really were acting like one I showed you proof I showed you the contradictions I showed you the verse where god said it is ok to treat someone as property but still you shun it away my philosophy teacher told me when we make judgement faith and emotion holds no water im sorry but your just being stubborn
  • (con) The bottom line is I know & am known by God, through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. It's not a religion but a personal relationship. It's either you have it or you don't.

So, between the only begotten Son of God & a mere mortal (like the rest of us), which one do you rather believe? Which one redeemed you with His own precious blood? For me, it is no contest, OK? Are you still insisting on pleading ignorance?

  • (con) Also, do you think the Star of Bethlehem exists? Watch "The Star of Bethlehem, Unlock the Mystery of the World's Most Famous Star," by Stephen McEveety. It is totally scientific too if you're interested in Astronomy.

I've done my homework, but have you done yours, my friend?

  • @KATAERO1 However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25 verse 44-46 NLT)

    whoops god condones slavery :)

  • @HalcyonAugu On Lev 25:44-46, as I said before, it's kind of an ancient economy where human slavery was a worldwide institution. Every nation practiced human slavery. In fact, human slavery is still alive & well in certain parts of Muslim countries in Africa. Even in my Buddhist country of Thailand, slavery was abolished not too long ago. And as I said before Christians were at the forefront leading the efforts of abolishing human slavery, i.e. William Wilberforce & Abraham Lincoln & etc.

  • @KATAERO1 ok blah blah every nation practiced it blah blah but why did god condone slavery? im sorry but your stupid as fuck it's in your fucking bible god dammit christians were leading in abolishing slavery? funny because the bible clearly states it's ok to own a slave god you are so fucking retarded that your stupidity is making me reach to a point of actually getting mad so with your logic if every nation practiced rape and it was part of the economy god condones it?
  • @Hal As I said before, man invented slavery when he became slave of sin. Things became worst from there. Then, came human slavery when man forced his fellow man to worship him as God. For God to destroy slavery means destroying mankind itself. Slavery came from sin, therefore, destruction of sin will put an end to slavery PERIOD. That's why God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to deliver us from our sins. He took our sins upon Himself then died, in order to kill our sins once & for all.

  • @KATAERO1 just take a look at that fucking verse i gave you jesus are christians really this stupid?

    it clearly says:

you may treat them as your property

    WTF?

and you say christians were leading in abolishing it?

god Im so angry right now

    because you are so STUPID!!!

  • (con) Why is it that I choose the Christian God & not zeus among all others? Because Jesus Christ exists, is who He said He was in the Bible. I was born into Buddhism, which was found by a dead guy, so the concept of God was totally alien to me. And zeus along with other gods never reveal himself to me, but Jesus Christ did. So, it's pretty logical for me to become a Christian because I know Jesus Christ exists & He filled my life with His love, peace, joy, forgiveness, gentleness, etc.

  • @HalcyonAugust2 So, do you want to have what I have? Best of all, it's free of charge & you can have right here, right now. It's hard to describe the process of being born again in Jesus Christ. Oh, I can't find words to describe how good it feels to have eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord & Savior. I highly recommend it!

  • @HalcyonAugust2 Unless you become a believer in God through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Bible won't probably do you any good. & only God can do that, I wish I could. So, do you want to have love, peace, joy & live forever? If not, there's nothing God can do for you. If yes, I can help.

Jesus said in John 8:32, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Everything you need to know about God & yourself is in the Bible. Do you want to believe it?

  • @HalcyonAugust2 And how do I know God always existed? Because I met Him & He manifests Himself in my life. He came into my life in the most unexpected way & delivered me from my lifelong-slavery of my own sins. That's through my personal experience, but if you stop & think, if God didn't exist, how did everything, including us, came into existence. If you do your part, God will do His to give you faith to believe in Him & it'll change your life forever for good from now on to eternity.

  • @KATAERO1 "Because I met Him & He manifests Himself in my life." well every other person from every other religion says that too. "but if you stop & think, if God didn't exist, how did everything, including us, came into existence"

again you already assume that god is the source of everything without even proving that he exists

and your statement right is simply. "we don't know where everything came from therefore god exists"

you see how absurd that kind of thinking is?

  • @HalcyonAugust2 About slavery, God is interested in delivering our souls, regardless of our flesh, but you think only in fleshly term, which I have to agree to disagree with you. However, it doesn't have anything to do with whether God exists or not, as He always exists. Remember "I AM WHO I AM?"

I am indeed a free soul in Christ, but you, Sir, are you free?

    God bless.

  • @pkpakhtun but make no mistake we are not hypocrates like you where u guys go around talking "peace" and freedom but are the only ones who attack other nations. christians used atomic bomb, they invade countries currently and dont forget crusades. you will have to think a whole lot more next time you say something because unlike you who buys any bs i have been dealing with your alikes for quiet a while. dont be a tool sir.. i can also bring you some verses from bible if you want to go that route

  • American nationalism and fundamentalist christianity is an EXTREMELY toxic combination.

  • Religion = just another capitalist enterprise.

  • Come on! I know it is true but how could any Chistain that has ever read the book we confess to love. Jesus Christ hung out with the poor NOT the rich! Jesus said that we MUST live in the service of others. So how could a republican be a Christian when Jesus was obviously a "LIBERAL." The the New Testiment People! If you confess to live only in the old testiment, then, inform everyone that you are a JEW!

  • A Wonderful Insight, Thanks Journeyman Pictures

  • The real brainwashing for a person is either his or someone else's ego depending its strength.

  • fucking commercials....

  • lol there's so many fucked up things about this video i dont even know where to start...

  • And Obama won, did it do much good? Did it do much bad? Would things be different under McCain?

Obama had a long hard road ahead to win but McCains utter failure made it all to easier.

In the end Obama did get a terrible economy on his plate, two wars and who knows what more. He so far seems to be doing decent with the troubled task. Not perfect just decent what can one ask more of a human. He is a good leader not perfect. I don't envy his task.

  • America has more debt than any other country, two wars that have been a disaster and a weak economy with the possibility of deflation!

We do not have power, we have a big ego!

  • I think the Evangelicals should enjoy their beliefs and leave the rest of us alone. There are 9 million Muslims in the U.S. and that number is growing. The Catholics are moving into the U.S. from the south. Atheists: 10-20% ( like myself ) are growing in numbers by 1% each year. I'm retired military and don't really understand why continuing the war(s) would do any good. There are many Democrats and gays in the military. We are your neighbors.

  • True Christians oppose wars of any kind. How is murdering people of other nations a sign of Christian faith?

  • america is brainwashed by religion... you're insane man...

  • @LeGermQC americans are brain washed by satanists and atheists...Americans don't buy religion any more

  • @bestozesto I'm an atheist. I didn't know we had that much influence. I don't buy religion either, but it is the gods that don't exist.

  • @bestozesto you're a fool. America needs MORE atheists if anything. We are STRANGLED by religion in this country

  • @TheGreaterGood80 your "Hell-erican dream"

  • @bestozesto the Hell is the one that we are living in now, where evangelical fascists make alliances with Israeli zionists ensuring that America must support Israel. A Hell where creationism and religious indoctrination is being pushed into schools. A Hell where the Mormon church goes out of its way from preventing marriage for gays and lesbians. A Hell where fundamentalist Christianity is melded with militaristic nationalism. A Hell where you cannot be president unless you're a Christian.Enough

  • ugh neocon evangelicals are idiots

  • You will always help by working with those in power. It never helps to just disempower those who are trying their hardest to help. We have gridlock due to divisiveness. ;)

  • The people have been alerted, of the super Elite Anglos guiding the money masters controlling axis. Obama is controlled by the Elite, and is sleeping with the Republicans. Obama will fail the people . Weather you are Christian or any other faith, be not control by the blinded drunkenness of faith. Keep your balanced, and be not blinded by the smile in your face by something different, because he will let you down. The fall of the Replublic is at hand. Lies. All lies! Don't make the same mistake.

  • American universities are lovely, american families are happy ,i love america, but i don't know why america has killed countless men, women and children in IRAQ,no afghan was involve in 9-11,but why america is destroying houses of muds in Afghanistan.

I think the real terrorist is america....

Obama should withdraw troops from IRAQ and Afghanistan and let the world ,including Americans, in peace.

  • @dazzle2300 That is the plan thank god. However, you must know what a terrible idea an abrupt withdrawal would cause more harm than good. I think it's owed to the people there that they aren't abandoned to chaosby the government that created it.

  • @dazzle2300 Beacuse ALL humans are tribal. This is because humans evolved. Jews fight each other, Islamics , Christians, do the same, and they ALL hate athesiosts along with each other.

All this relgious bullshit will destroy the earth, count on this for certain..!

  • @gblueslover2 Very true, we are all very tribal in our instincts, hence this obsession with religion and football fanaticism.

  • @skworq You'll note that there will be periods of warming, respect for each other, followed by HUGE discords and discontent with " Other religions are teaching/preaching false doctrine , WE are the way ". NOW recently, since another religion has claimed that " lslam is of the devil" & has gotten HUGE TV & news coverage, you'll see all major religions banding together to fight this guy and his tribe. That'll keep them occupied with " that" 4 a awhile, they'll go back 2 there old ways soon enough.

  • What do you think about obama now? I question your faith if you voted for obama. Pay attention to the facts!

  • I don't have faith yet voted republican...do you want me out of your party?

  • Christians are so smart.

  • This is what really boils my blood - HOW can you have a 'personal relationship' with a cult-leader who's been dead, certainly absent for two millenia?

  • My heart breaks for these veterans. What heros.

  • I love blasphemy....as an American, it's a benefit of my core freedoms. Thank you, America.

  • Pastor Holt - another pied-piper of FRAUDULENT mythology. Fundamental American Christians are as much a danger as Taliban and AlQaida put together.

  • This is a joke., anyone who was raised christian can see this preacher is simply putting his views across to his congregation! They would turn on their own children if he advised them such!

  • " we were smuggling bibles" that is so bad ass.

  • Yes we do have proof of remnant apes that dont pose a threat to humans - gorrilas/orangutans/chimps. Even now humans are still trying to eliminate each othr thrgh race/religion. It is just that we refuse to look ourselves in the mirror and we use things like religion/race to justify our greed, hatred and discomfort with people different from ourselves

  • Religion doesn't justify our greed and hatred towards others, It simply gives peole hope. Sure there is some violence involved in it, but it does also keep people in control. If there wasn't religion, people would go absolutly nuts considering the fact that there wouldn;t be an eternal punishment such as hell. I am not saying other gods may not exist for it is possible. I just know that my God exists.

  • you are right about the usefulness of religion in society, like i said we may not be ready for a world without religion because of our human societal limitations-so we still need to threaten the "bad"people with te damnation of eternal hell and entice them with the goodness of heaven. Good and bad exist to complement each other-without the other one cannot say which is good and which is bad. Lets pray that we can resolve this through compassion and the universal need for peace for all.

  • I completley agree with you! but another thing is that we are all still looking for the answer to the question of what created us. i mean we all no that everthing had to come from something. What was the first thing? it's a question that is almost impossible to answer. There is only one reasonable logical explenation. And that's Christianity

  • there's an ageold philosophy or theory that says existence and non-existence or yin-yang fluctuates between one with the other. If you study quantum physics carefully, it says that if u take the components of atoms further you will discover that its made of pure energy that is invisible. So our world is infact just made of pure energy manifested into physical world which u and i experience. To say that if u cant explain it then it must be God/Christianity is just adding question to question.

  • Comment removed

  • isn't it a surprise that the life less energy come into building the whole universe? look at what are believing in.

  • we have laws to do that today, we dont really need God to do the dirty job of imprisoning the Bad people

  • True, but there is a thing called carma! we all know that exists...

  • karma is an anti-christianity concept-i thought you are a christian. To say that karma exist as a christian is blasphemous! LOL

  • Comment removed

  • Numbers 32:23 - "..be sure your sins will find you out.." sounds pretty Karmatic to me... Karma is just another name for the concept of "impending judgement". Christians just have their Judge already picked out for them.

  • Christians dont preach karma concept because they have hell and heaven to cover that topic. The only difference is that God is the judge, as if he has the time for 6 billion people, but wait if you're a catholic you could wash your sins through confessions in church ( actually in the middle ages, confessions were a great way for the church,or the govt of that time to gather intelligence, like CIA KGB to condem the sinful.) So it does mean that one can do crime/sin and get away clean over n over

  • i'm not against Christianity and I think the religion is beautiful and most part of it brings out the good side of people and what a great social life one can get from church. I wish I could belong to a faith like you but I think a lifetime of seeking the truth is what we are destined to do. Truth is I cant accept that life and GOD was that simple. Religion to me has the effect of closing minds to reality. But somehow humans are born with the GOD chip implanted to avoid brain damage. lol

  • I know. I am completely a christian, but in peoples eyes, everyone else is wrong. Christians are wrong, muslims are wrong, atheists are wrong, buddahs are wrong, i mean whatever happens happens. Stop fighting because of religion. You die you go to heaven or you rot in the ground for eternity or be reborn as a tree. I mean one of them has to be right. (I'd hope you go to heaven hehe) but i've chosen to belive in Jesus, even though, i still like to rationalize life as if God didn't exist.

  • Good question about the ape issue. I think there were many Human-like semi-intelligent beings evolving together with humans, we just killed them all and ate them. Recent archeological findings found that to be true. See we humans are not so nice in the past, we were cannibals and we still kill fellow life like dolphins whales etc.

  • Well no. I'm sorry, but there's no way im going to belive that we have actual evidence of evolving animals into man. i'll even look it up and notify you when i find something proving it. Evolution has too many flaws in it that can't peice together. I don't mean to contridict your belifes or anything im just saying. If that single piece of alegy could make man, brains, tecnology, mechanics, religion, war, then something isn't right...

  • But how do you except that? You don't even have the tinyest faith in God? Even how perfect every little thing is to allow our existance in the first place? The earth perfectly positioned, our complex brains, which i doubt could be evolved through the theory of evolution through a peice of alegy, dinosaurs dying out before our existance so we can survive, Jupiter pulling in asteroids, no harmful gases, even the fact that we arwe the only known planet with life on it? Coinsidence? incedibly lucky?

  • i doubt we are the only planet with life, unless you think trillions of planets out there are just pieces of rocks/gases whatever. Life is just a natural effect of the universe. Give it sometime(millions of years) life will evolve out of nothingness. Intelligent life takes a little longer. Someone has to observe the creation and destruction of the universe.

  • Kay, regaurdless if there is a few other planets out there with life on it, we will probably never ever discover one with intelligent life. Even so, Your so lucky to even be alive regaurding that this may be the only planet with intelligent life on it. The fact that your computer has evolved from a piece of alegy is unlikley. let alone your brain. Relgion may seem too siple to explain life to you but this stuff were talking about? seems very very unlikley and way too complex to be possible.

  • what makes you think They have not discovered us? We are not so advance as a species, we still fight among each other, we still let our fellow human die of starvation and wars. We fight and kill over petty things like religion and politics and oil of course. If only we learn to share and consider all other humans your brothers and sisters, the world will be heaven dont you think? We dont need to die to be in heaven, we can create it right now. But then again we are not so advance yet.

  • Well the thing about that is in the bible, God never said that there wasn't any other life he created. Therefor,he could have created it, but never menchined it in the bible because we will never find it for it could be on the other side of the universe.

You make a great point but i personally think that we could, but people are just insane, thats why we have prison, to keep bad people out of society. and that's why heaven has hell, to keep bad people out of heaven.

  • @richiew292 I like your vision of a great society. It will begin to actualize itself when religion fucks off!

  • tool, your insight into the wonder of creation abt earth being perfectly position from the sun and that it must be God's work is myopic. If you understand astrology, earth was never always like that. Earth is orbiting the sun much like the ball tied to an elastic string that orbits the center, sun. We are currently enjoying the period of life because the window of life giving conditions is here.Eventually the sun WILL pull us in and make the earth uninhabitable. If there's GOD, this wont happen!

  • Comment removed

  • Myopic does not define my situation. Our time should easily be up by the time the sun pulls us in. Hell, the sun will probably burn itself out by the time that has happened. Despite the sun being perfectly positioned, we even have Jupiter to protect us from astroids due to its strong gravitational pull. Even despite that! The way our body system works and how the brain works! I could literally go on all day about this stuff to prove how perfect everything is.

  • just to maybe point you away from giving up your quest for knowledge, the human body was not a creation of a higher being, it took millions of years of trial and error to make. Just like the world wide Web, it was not designed to be what it is today, it started with just simple need to transmit codes, today we communicate instantaneously and enjoy youtube-the founders of the internet did not designed it for this purpose then, it just happened through the internet evolution, why cant u see that.

  • if evolution is real, then where are all the evolving stuff? why aren't there apes halfway turning ito humans. Same for all the other evolving animals.

The internet was designed through an intelligent being. Evolution is just coinsidensial. How could allllllll of the world, technology, cities, all human kind, develope from a tiny single piece of alegy? If that were true, shouldn't we be hailing alegy as if it were God itself? Actually, shouldn't it be God?

  • in fact we are all sons of god, literarily. I believe the bible or Christ words is trying to teach us and tell us something abt humankind past but in riddle form that is very vague but i also believe we owe it to ourselves to investigate the real meanings. Sure i believe in the story abt the great flood because almost all cultures in d world has that. And yes there will be armegeddon because nothing last forever, not even God. The world WILL end , its innevitable but i wont quote frm the bible

  • Well, now that you mention that, the bible has specified things about armegeddon and judgement day. Oddly enough, things that the bible said would be signs of that are now appearing.

I do agree with you that we have do have the right to investigate reality and step away from the concept of God. However, you should still have faith in God without factual proof needed.

Christ actually did exist. Many, many stories have said he performed miracles and rose from the dead which increases my belief-

  • If you were born 500 years in the future and someone told you that there's a person named David Copperfield could walk through walls or make a 5ton elephant dissapear, would you say he is the son of God. The magic element doesnt proof that, not even the rising from the dead which incidently was a story predating Christ by hundreds of years. We can still belv in GOD without the bible or Koran. But b4 we digress to religion debate, my pt is religion causes rift in society-we shld drop frm govts

  • Rising from the dead and making elephants disappear/walking through walls, are totally different things. Not only would I not believe that, but it's the facts about Christianity that almost prove its existance. Like i said before in my earlier statements, over hlaf the stories in the bible have been proven to be true.

  • Tool, i respect your religious convictions and that you truly believe in what the bible says abt Judgement Day and that we need to repent and accept Christ. But judgement day phrophesies is part and parcel of the religion marketing. If you lived during the time of say 'Napolean, you might say that he is the antichrist and judgement day is near. You get my point-if one can apply written words in a phophetic book to just abt any age, then the answer is simple: there's no truth in that.

  • I get your point, but it's not like over 1-3 of the whole world is brain washed by the religion of Christianity. Not that many people would be that gullible to believe in such a thing. Sure, children might follow after their parents if they're Christian, but most of them, if not all, will grow up to understand what is real and what is not. However, Christ did exist. It is the question whether he's the son of God and died for our sins. I just don't underst
