One of my favorites for years! I lived in NYC when 9/11 happened and rode the subway every day to and from work.  To keep sane, I listened to her recordings, because so many were so life affirming. RIP Diva!

Cesaria Evora transmt me a peaceful joy everytime I listen her, I had listened her before opening my channel, I had a Cd and I had watched a show of her on TV, but I was beleft she was brazilian :=)...till I comment a video and some good person sent me a message telling me she was not from Brazil.In my country very few people know her songs.
