Does anyone have english subtitles for this song? I've been a Drunken Tiger fan for a long time, and this is one of my favorites. But I can't understand everything, if anyone could tell me where subtitles are, I will really appreciate it.
Wow I never noticed that he quotes other hiphop artist of the past. I just heard one in this MV "no woman no cry" - Bob Marley @ 3:20... DT REAL HIP HOP
Tiger JK is legend...It's beautiful how his music developed...Used to be more of American culture, now it's towards Korean culture, I can find a lot of his songs related to me, and it's really amazing because I never thought hip hop would reflect on beauty side of life...I keep saying this but Tiger JK...he's such a beautiful mind...eases my pain in life listening to his music...
he is an iconic figure in the korean hip hop scene...i think the most striking thing he said in the beginning that most mc's won't admit is " I lost interest in love for the sake of music because Music ultimately became work" when u think about it how many ppl actually do music for the sake of art and its true essence of aestheticism..?
What he says in the beginning of the video really reflects the majority of the Korean's sentiment and makes them a backward, close-minded nation. It's too bad...
i've been listening to DT for the 10 years they've been on the scene now, and personally, I prefer the older stuff like: the great rebirth(song), good life, w.o.r.d., knock out kings, NY 2 Shanghai, and of course Iz Ack Hizay.
(Tiger JK raised in U.S) When he came to Korea first time, Korea was full of prejudice that audiences aren't ready to listen my music. people think that I was crazy,..At the end he said, now I can understand them but I won't fogive them ever, because I love music.
Love is... Love... I lost my interest in love. Music became a job... It became a job. Since they told us to make music unlike the way we wanted... (Unfinished). My father always said our country is a free country. haha...
Love is... Love... I lost my interest in love. Music became a job. It became a job. Since they told us to make music unlike the way we wanted... (Unfinished). My father always said our country is a free country... haha...
They [producers] said right in our faces 'damn, why you have a nigger here?'
Our members were one black guy and one white guy, and they said 'who are you to bring a nigger to our country?'
The whole country ended up rejecting us. They would say, "Is this hip-hop? You call this hip-hop? Hey, this is an MIDI that blah-blah wrote, and THIS is real hip-hop, you idiot. I mean why do you have turntable scratches here?"
We were rejected because we supposedly didn't have any songs, but actually the producer's reason was that our song style wasn't properly done for the mass media.
I think my heart back then was shit. I didn't think celebrities should become role models, because they make normal people look like retards. Fans shouldn't push them with balloons and gifts. When a supposedly talented musician said "I love every single one of my fans," I used to say 'bullshit, he's doing all this for business,' but now I understand... (Unfinished)
I am most afraid of becoming a coward. To get on stage and perform, I would need a couple drinks... What people don't know is that the stage is a very scary thing. (music starts)

At that time, our songs were not allowed to perform at anywhere because they said we didn't 'SING' any 'SONGs'
They said our recording was wrong, PD(producer) said the recording was something wrong he said "You guys, you didn't put
that? (i don't know what he was trying to say but he just said 'that'..)
the music consultation (or committee) of korea? i thought it was just fucking thing, haha (lol)
I think there need to be some line for it (music..) too.

"You dummass! What are you? Hip-hop!? This is the Hip-hop! This man 0 0 0 (he didn't say the name..) writing the songs,
this is the... me..(i didn't get this part..... media.. maybe!?) You know it? This is the Hip-hop! Go and study more dude!",
"what the..? why, why did the scratch sounds are inside? huh, where did you mix down them?".
yj0611 2 years ago
they were like 'why did the black came with you?' cause one of my rapper member was black, the other one was white,
and people were like 'what are you? why did you brought that black here and trying to do somethin?
(i guess this part means something about broadcasting)'
so they made us stopped, like EVERY SINGLE songs of our album were like couldn't get on anywhere cause of them, the people
who worked in broadcasting station.

Somebody can tell me what's he is saying? do not need to translate every thing only give a idea of what he is saying. Thanks.

Love's.. love's..
I lost interest of love.
music..'s became my work, and.. yeah it became my work already.
The people in a broadcasting station wanted us to do the things that we couldn't do..
The nice country, our country, that my dad used to and always said..
in the country of courteous people in the East;Korea,, huh,
when i came, "Ah-yu ci (It's korean sounds that express bit of anger), Black",
"You black! why did you came here", they were just said that out loud in front of us
