The Booygeymen DVD introduced me to this and The Guardian, two of my now favorite horror films. Both so different, and both so good. I'm so glad I own them both now. The Ugly is just a fantastic psychological horror movie.

This is by far one of the best horror/thriller flicks I've seen. It's one hell of an engrossing and chilling journey inside a serial killer’s haunted mind. I just found the whole of it extremely sad and depression hit me hard once the end credits rolled. I loved how the film jumps from the present to the past in very creative ways, even incorporating both time periods together in one frame at times. That made for a very unique method of storytelling.

this was a bad ass movie the black blood was annoying but still effective the endong however is wicked it's kind of like the high tension ending were you didn't expected that to happen it's was like think you what's gon' happen but they pull you in other way good movie though

the movie wasn't meant to be scary horror it was meant to be interesting and captivating when watching just cause there's no man in a mask or gore in it don't mean its not a stand up phycological horror
