Im sorry but i have to say something about these GT-R exhausts. They sound great in fact im building the same exhaust to put on my car. THIS IS NOT A MODIFIED MAGNAFLOW. It is magnaflow muffler part number 14277 for a v6 camaro firebird. I looked at a guy in towns exhaust that has this same system. If that guy can weld these up so perfect that looks factory untouched. Then he deserves a frickin award. Thank you.
@albaniansk8er Thanks! Cat-back was $650 if I remember correctly, and the headers were $850 but I had them custom fabbed as a group by with 5 other guys. One-off custom headers will run you around $1500 from most dependable places. Good luck with everything.
@jazzman3071 Yeah, thanks! The guy that designed it was going for high-euro sound. This system does have the option for a resonator that will quiet it down a bit.

WOW ! I think the next engine replacement On my G6 3.9L will be this one just for the exhaust tone, compared to the GTR on mine and several other owners with the 3.9 this thing kicks ass on the 3.6L, and the tone matches the car much more if ya know what I mean
Meh, the video doesn't do it a lot of justice. I've had two different tuner shops say it sounds exactly like a 350z while I was there. I have headers going on either this Friday or Tuesday, whenever they can get me in. Then, it'll sound A LOT better. Look for updated videos in the next week if you are interested.
GT-R is made by a guy in Texas. He uses a self-modified magnaflow muffler which forces torque down low but then allows for flow in high RPM, then mates that with a mandrel bent 2 1/2 inch pipe from the front to the muffler. As of now, it's said to be one of, if not THE, best exhaust for the G6.

sounds like rice...is that just the video? i had a 3.8 grand prix gt and it didnt sound like that. im thinking about getting a g6 gtp and i will put exhaust on it but i dont want it to sound like a fart can you know? how much did your catback system cost?
GT-R sucks. Overpriced bullshit... just a copy of the older Grand Prix stock exhaust. U get better flow with a true Y-pipe.

this is a 3.6 dohc sounds alot diff. then over OHV
