  • Great stuff. Since my wife and I made a trip to your amazing country we're absolute Aussie fans, and as it seems on YouTube: they know all about jazz Down Under (as we already noticed being in Australia ourselves)Next time -and most certainly there'll be a next time- we'll skip Melbourne and make a stop at Geelong :-)Greetings from Down Upper!

  • I wish I could play like you, nevertheless, please check out my videos I believe we may be kindred spirits !!

  • Dude, this is excellent. I am studying jazz piano to university standards but this kinda stuff really really really really helps to expand ideas and to explore. Thankyou so much.

  • Exemplifies internet at its best : educational power in music learning.

Even though I'm a jazz guitarist, I benefit very much from your midifiles and video clips.

Please keep on providing us wonderful jazz piano midifiles...

  • Doug, I just wanted to say thank you for the many informative videos and the beautiful music.

    Yorkshire salutes you!

  • Amazing stuff Doug. Ive just started reading about drop 2 voicings. Still slightly confusing for me though. >_< 5 stars for you buddy.

  • Just started studying Shearing block chords with my teacher, and now I'm finally understanding what you're doing, esp. with the drop 2's.

  • The greatest as usual!!

  • Great job as always Doug. I have the same keyboard bought it a couple of weeks ago. Did you use the sequencer in the keyboard to lay down the bass and drums? If not what do you use.

  • I love your music! Me I mostly just listen but I think it's a cool idea to share your skills giving instructions and very generous of you to do this. Thank you!
