  • This is just so good I don't know what to say.Seriously it's better than Broadway. If you don't mind I'm gonna put it on my mp3:)

  • I am praying you will get that new life...you deserve to be singing again, and getting your life back. God bless, remember always hang on to the "HOPE" of a brand new tomorrow.

  • Good voice. You need work on breathing though, you have the whole Ramin Karimloo Thing going on.

  • You have a lovely voice - just wish that you had sung through some of the phrases more and hadn't done the breathless/talk thing for a few of the lines. But lovely voice!

  • Loved this! <3

  • there is simply no denying that you have an amazing voice!

  • Alot of really great moments especially "Something to convince me to renew hope." Though I didn't like that the "new" in "each day's a brand new life." at the end was blown off. But overall great job. :^)

  • Wow, that was good! The blocking didn't seem natural until you finnaly stop in the bed at the end. You looked more like, I was told to move here, not like it was in the moment. BUT I'm nit picking! :-) That was an amazing performance of that song!

  • that was very good :D props!

  • Your voice is wonderful, but iI didn't like a lot the last scene on the bed, I think there was no need to stand up, it's like you are saying "I want you all listen to me!" Btw, you are a great singer.

  • @shakira04031991

thank you! unfortunately.... that is the direction i was given, not my own... thank you for your comment!!! :)

  • @shandymonte You know, I made this musical too, I was a rich woman, but I would like to play Lucy just once, I see so much about her in me! We had a great success because we introduced it in English for the first time ever in Italy and we're planning to be on exibition again. I hope someday I will play Lucy as you did!

  • wow this is sooooooo good!!!!!!

  • I saw this on broadway, as it was a show my dad handled, multiple times and even attended the closing party. I saw Linda Eder and Colleen Sexton both seen this song each at least a half dozen times. It was WRITTEN for Linda by her husband with her voice range in mind - hence the shows quick decline after she left (she took the POWER out of the POWER BALLADS, so to speak, lol) - and

  • Colleen (I met both - Linda was much more personable..) did the best she could but, as a singer myself, I can distinguish between ones' ability to belt a note and to SCREAM a note - which is what she did when the time came to hit the high ones that you had NO TROUBLE hitting. I just wish you held your notes longer - my only critique. A+

  • Wow ... it gave me chills ! I am going to be trying out for this play at my school and i really want to do this song as my audition piece, but i dont think i can top that

  • Great voicee!!!

    Congratulationss!!!

  • great voice ,..dont like the talked parts when she drops singing to talk the word

not needed with a good voice like this

  • Great singing :D if only the sound system was better than you would have sound better :P

  • Shandy -- Shandy---

I am crying so hard right now, listening to / experiencing your incredible performance.

I too, used to perform professionally. I think back and remember the life that surged through me, and into the audience. .. Now, I am housebound with this Invisible Disease, as you are.

I am with you, my beautiful friend.

Incredible. Just so incredible. Thank you!

  • you are amazing, i can hear the sadness. ur really knowing the role, u could take the drama down a bit, but other than that, ur voice is gorgeous

  • @queenofsingin99 this song actually requires the drama, if you listen to any other version youll see that they are even more dramatic than this version

  • First, I want to say I'm pleased that you actually acted while singing this song, and you have a gorgeous voice and range.

Now, I'm not sure what caused it, if it was part of the act or not, but you were taking way too many breaths during the song, and it led to you cutting off notes prematurely, predominantly in the last minute of the song. Notes that should have been held were dropped one beat in. I think it hurt the performance just by how noticeable it was.

  • above.. disagreee. shes got a totally affected sound that is going to annoy the ears of alooot fof people.

  • you are so sweet! Your comments are really helpful!

  • WOW!!! That was absolutely amazing!

  • DAMN!!! You were so good! Thanks for posting that. AMAZING!

  • Phenomenal! I got chills. You did a really good job playing the character wihtout copying the actresses who played the role before you. (Watching it again!)

  • great!

  • Hey sweetie long time no speak! How are you feeling nowerdays??? Hope you are getting better!!!

    Lots of luv

    Sam

    xxx

  • you are excellent!! you should go on Broadway!!

  • I have seen Linda Eder many times...this was the song that made me a fan of hers. I'm basically a metalhead but her voice is amazing, you did this song justice, beautiful job. Not an easy task, good luck...

    Chris

  • Learn how to finish your phrases. Overacting is worse than underacting.

  • oh, you're so sweet.. thank you!

  • Ummmm... she's amazing and belongs on Broadway. Are you kidding me?

  • @slothfallsover sooooooooo not true. I'm sorry to disagree. Directers would rather tell you to pull back then to give more. plus it reads well on stage...and this chick looks so alive and comfortable. she's really good.

  • This performance is amazing. Thank you for gifting us with this.

  • Thank you!!

  • you are simply wonderful

I think that your voice sent me into Narnia.

You WULL get this life back. I PROMISE you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I love you, doll!

  • Lovely Shandy. Lovely.

You will get back to this. You are too good and too determined to not get back.

You keep doing what you need to to get back to your theatre and I'll keep doing what I need to to get back to mine.

All good wishes for you today,

    Clark

  • powerful voice!

youve got lots of talent miss thing!

i actually sang this today while i was painting my house! :P

  • WOW! Awesome voice.

  • Amazing though one thing i will critisize is you didnt hold the big notes on long enough, it would have sounded even more amazing if u didnt cut them so short, fantastic voice though!

  • Thank you!! I like constructive critsim.... I ten to get overly emotional and involved when I do a role. I know that happened with Lucy, so I think I was more singing on an emotional level therefore cutting the long notes....But I totally understand what you are saying. When you watch back on your performance and GO DAMN I should have done it this way!!! Thanks a bunch and I am glad you like it anyway!!

  • You are welcome, I loved your dangerous game too! I'm singing it next week for a uni project. So are you doig musical theatre professionlly now?

  • I would have been, but unfortunatley I am very ill with Lyme disease. I have been bedridden for about a year and unable to pursue my love of performing :(.....Please check out my Channel, you will see how things went from having an a pretty amazing life to changing drastically overnight. I only pray I will be able to perform again someday!!!

  • That sucks but with a voice with like that you will be performing again, this is just a bump in the road. Chin up Miss talented! :D

  • Thank you so much for making my world a little brighter today!!! :)

  • You are e than welcome sweetie if you have not alredy guessed i'm sam nice to mt you shandy!

  • oh dear, please just keep hoping, you'll beat this. there are some people who are meant to sing, and you're clearly one of them. just hang in, and keep hope and loved ones around you. you'll be out of bed again, and making people as brilliantly happy as this performance is making me.

  • That was so nice of you!! Thank you so much!!!!!!! :)

  • where was this production of J&H produced?

  • yea, im basically wicked jealous of you! your voice is sooooooo amazing! I MISS YOUUUUUUUU!!!!! i love you shandy!
