  • Highly admire your honesty there big jay

  • @SMFITNESS786 Thanks for the support.

  • Twiiins

  • @OrisueSteez No, I'm actually close to 20 years older than Seth, but thanks for the compliment.

  • I turned the volume down at 7:12 in case anyone was going past my door and got the wrong idea, haha.

    Awesome video, J.

  • @AtoZyzzyva Thanks for watching brother.

  • You two are starting to scare me. I'm just glad I'm on your team lol! Oh, and thanks for the rare bicep shot Jason, verrrrrrrry nice!

  • @BOBZILLA737 Thanks brother.

  • Respect BIG J... and another thing, a video talking about steroid use 2.600+ views and zero dislikes this says alot about your channel.. i would say one if not the most friendly and respectful fitness channel / community on youtube. Thank you so much for all the great advice it really helps me and im pretty sure alot other people to fight for theire goal body

  • @theek2008100 Thanks for the support brother. Glad to help out.

  • its really respectable that you would share your past hormone use big j, because (hopefully) to most of us, it doesn't matter/change our view of you whatsoever. still a huge inspiration keep the videos coming!

  • @AlabasterHero Thanks for the support brother.

  • This may seem silly, but what's the song at 7:53? I wanna lift to that tune!

  • @mightyjoelaith Not sure brother. It's on "The Crow" soundtrack.

  • Hey i play basketball I watched your older nutrition vid on competion prep what should I do.

  • @midwestchaos1 I would recommend consulting with a basketball player brother. That nutrition is too strict for your sport. Thanks for stopping by.

  • awesome vids way beeter then other fags like jr barthel and nick wright kepp it up

  • @QVWrestlingTigers Thanks for your support brother. I respect Nick and JR. They have a lot to bring to the fitness industry.

  • your the best man. Thanks for all the advice and honestly most guys don't put it all out there.

  • @NickVmusic1 Thanks for your support brother. Always have, always will.

  • jay, long time subscriber and love your vids. and loving this series, your helping me get ready for my first show! you kinda talked about it in this vid but i was hoping you could touch a little more on it, kind of periodization. you said next week is the 4 rep range. so form matters but heavy cheat days are needed as well? ive always been told to focus on form over weight. please help/elaborate. thanks, - jake

  • @dubson965 and also deloading, thanks

  • @dubson965 Don't beleive in it ESPECIALLY if you are preparing for a contest. That word didn't even exist when I was competing.....Check my library for "My opinion on Deloading"

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness thanks so much man, answered them perfectly. cant wait for the back vid.

  • @dubson965 Loading back workout now brother. Stay tuned.

  • @dubson965 I've always gone on what I feel I need depending on my physique week to week brother. It's hard to preach periodization when I didn't practice it. However I did do this and next weeks workouts up till around 4 weeks out then I would add Monster, Super, Compound, and drop sets to finalize my hardness. YES safe and INTENSE heavy movements are required to build the type of muscle it takes to get onstage. Best wishes at your first contest brother.

  • great video Guys, Congrats on the pr Big J and Congrats on Strong Man Seth's progress, keep it up

    your boy, Will

  • @wmontano8 We appreciate your support Will.

  • big j i have so much respect for you brother...from houston out

  • @lilstan2k Thanks for the support from H-Town brother. Compete down there a couple of times in the early to mid 90's. Trained with Anthony Dodd, Daryl Bush, Louie Magnone and and a few other monsters.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness It great to see a man with the balls to say he did actually take steroids at one point in his life, so many guys will just lie about it and you know they're full of shit!! In my opinion it doesn't take anything away from you just the opposite it adds on!! You're a great example and you tell it like it is!!! INTENSITY RULES!!!

  • @Charlezleroy Thanks for the support brother. Have always answered every comment and personal message truthfully, thought it was time to make a clip about it and move on to other topics.

  • do a video talking about steroids, why you took them, your results and side effects, and your opinions on steroids

  • @BearGrylls123100 Search my library for the video entitled "My opinion on steroids" Thanks for watching.

  • @BearGrylls123100 Also a quick answer for all to see. *Why-It was a decision I made to successfully get to the next level. *Results-Size, Strength, and Muscle Maturity gains with multiple wins. *Side Effects-None, blood tests and physicals twice per year.,*Opinion-in the video I suggested you view. • @eldogg4life Thanks for the support.

  • Seth is starting to shape up really well!

  • @grimmersnee Yes he is.

  • I think you are mad strong on shoulders and chest cause of your tris!

  • @grimmersnee Chest and shoulders have always been stronger than average brother. Tris do have a lot to do with it but they have just recently in the last ten years come around. Have had to learn to work around my shoulder and elbow issues.

  • awesome video :) at least ur dead honest about previous hormone regimes :)

  • @NaturalMuscularity I've always answered every comment and personal message with the truth. Felt it was time to do a clip so I can focus on other topics instead of answering the same question over and over again.

  • Have you guys did back yet?

  • @ninjabic Thanks for your support brother.

  • 2 hours of sleep? damn.... can u recover with that little sleep?

  • @TheNoobshuffla Not really brother. I get a good 5 hours at least 4 nights per week which is all I require. But every couple of days I'll go days without it. Just part of my job and I make the best of it.

  • Hey BigJ,

Quick question. Will your contest prep rep ranges(10,8,6,4) be beneficial when on a bulk or should I just stick to the 6-12 reps range?

    Cheers :)

    Cheers :)

  • @480al Trial and error brother. Try them both and see what works best for you. I honestly will eventually end up doing 12-20 with HEAVY weight pre-contest so again you have to see what works best for your physique.

  • As always great video brother. Keep up the good work dude

  • @juicedmonkey1111 Thanks brother.

  • planet fitness would have a fit. but honestly, i think it's much better to see and hear other people pushing themselves to the limit

  • @01100111000 Good thing I own my own gym. Not interested in training anywhere else with the exception of a collab vid with a fellow YouTuber brother.

  • Jason can you set me up on a diet?

  • @teensupplementking Search my video library for nutrition advice brother. Several types of diets on here.

  • Thanks for another awesome video. Do you recommend workouts of all supersets?

  • @EveyoneLovesAwesome I like supersets at the ends of my workouts at times, and others I'll not do them at all. It's just what I feel like doing that day brother.

  • Campbell fitness! & BigJ workout? EPIC. Bring strongman SETH along!

  • @StayFit4Life321 Thanks for the support brother.

  • Staying classy in the gym with a black tshirt, jeans and a belt! I like it! Keep doing good work!

  • @MuscleBound23 Thanks brother. Was heading straight to work afterwards, that's usually my uniform.

  • What a great vid for 200th video. Kept it super real with everyone. Showing importance of warm up and rotator cuff training is excellent most youtube people don't stress this enough. Also really liked that you had the balls to say you did steroids. Being a Pro bodybuilder I obviously knew you took them, but I seriously thought you were still on them. Shows what the power of intensity really does. Keep up the great work brotha!

  • @boby6 Thanks for the support brother. I've always answered every comment every time with the truth. Just thought it was time to video my answer so we can all focus on other topics.

  • man I love watching you train. I'm not scheduled to workout til tomorrow and now all I can think about is working out.

  • @HomeGymFitness me too FUCK off days!!!!!

  • @funkydankk Thanks for the support brother.

  • Great series keep it up bro

  • @powerkast Thanks brother. Will do.

  • Hey big j love the videos, with all these contest prep videos going on, I feel it would only be RIGHT if you did a video on how to pose properly for getting on stage. Im not competeting but would love to learn how to show my muscles off by posing thanks!!

  • @KynexWOW Great idea brother. I'll see what I can do.

  • Big j is always killing it sheesh

  • @BodysyourTemple Yes brother!!

  • Respect man, Thanks for the props J!!

  • @CampbellFitness Thanks brother and Always support your awesome channel. One of the best out there in my opinion.

  • Congrats on 200 brother! Gonna hit this workout tomorrow!

  • @mrinderle Thanks brother. CRUSH it with INTENSITY!!

  • Seth will be a monster soon good work and good luck and thanks big j for the honesty on the steroid front and hope this brings you more respect for being up front rather than less

  • @wrusst Have always answered every question about this every time with the truth. Thought it was about time to post a clip on it so we can move on to other subjects.

  • Your the godfather jay lol.... We all look up too ya ... Stay healthy n god bless brotha! !!!

  • @curry33343 I"m honored brother. Thanks for the support.

  • Respect Big J!

  • @itsthemagic1 Thanks for the respect brother.

  • Military presses screwed up my shoulder real good now I cant do Incline (Except with dumbbells) I cant power or military press, and almost any exercise hurts my shoulder =/ Im takin some time off for it to heal and hopefully ill be back to power presssing 225 soon!

  • @turtleownage true story man, i had the same problem with my shoulders a few months ago because of the military presses....shoulder's not 100% healed but ive been off for about 2 months now and i'm going in again, using dumbells instead of barbells and keeping as good form as possible...hope you're back in the game soon brother;)

  • @vplougoboy I took a week off upper body and only did leg and core exercises and that didnt help much, I have strained cartilage, do you know what yours is/was?

  • @turtleownage fisrt of all i'm not an expert on injuries so i would strongly recomment to visit your physician doctor because shoulder injuries can be very serious and could put you out of the game for a long time! in my case, i had shoulder injury that led to tendinitis of the rotator cuff of my left shoulder due to bad form during military presses...in the beggining of this video Big J warms up his rotator cuffs (@2:52 - 3:04) which is very important before any shoulder workout..

  • @turtleownage bigplayray also has a video called "to avoid shoulder pop" i think...i would strongly recomment to add these to your warm up as soon as your shoulder has FULLY recovered. Until then you should put some ice on that bitch to minimize the inflammation and put it to rest. dont hit your chest & shoulders until you have fully recovered. and as mentioned before visit your physician. that's what i did and my shoulder now feels much better, although it hasnt fully recoverd yet.

  • @vplougoboy Great story and advice. Glad to hear you are back at it brother.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness thanks Jay! Keep them videos coming ;)

  • @turtleownage i almost forgot! you should also watch out when bench pressing. this exercise puts a lot of stress to your shoulder joints! after my injury i completely replaced barbells with dumbells!

  • @turtleownage I advise you to seek medical attention brother. Find out the severity of your injury before persuing your quest for 225 again. Ensure your recovery and physical therapy is safe and thorough. There are several alternatives to the military press I say seek them out brother. Best wishes.

  • @turtleownage Also I do NOT advise NOT training upper body till you are recovered. I'll send you a video regarding training during injury and time off.

  • Its great that u put seth on a bodybuilding diet u can notice the change in his physique when he was flexing

  • @rampagetapout Thanks for the support brother.

  • Cant wait for the strongman videos :)

  • @GreeZYRAWR Yes we too are excited brother.

  • Have the steroid side effects gone away BigJ?

  • @yamakunda Never experienced any negative side effects as I frequently visited the Dr for blood work and physicals.

  • haha, i always knew you took some "Stuff" back in your day. doesn't change my thought on how awesome you are though. INTENSITY RULES!

  • @hercule50 Thanks for the support brother.

  • Big j u don't even know how awesome u r for that last answer at the end of the video. I've wanted to ask u that every single video but I didn't want to be rude. I appreciate ur honesty. Btw how tall are you?

  • @medasco143 I've always answered every comment with the truth every time. Felt like it was time to put a clip up so we could focus on other topics. Thanks for the support.

  • Hey Big J, is Seth training for the contest too?

  • @FlekkeD Not sure brother.

  • @kostasphil I think the safer ones are the sitting shoulder presses, because if you fail, the bar goes straight on the stands, and when you do the standing one, if you fail, you might really hurt your arms, shoulders and back. You can really snap some shit up hahahaha :D

  • Comment removed

  • I want to train with you so baaad but i should travel for 21 hours iam in the other side of the world :)

  • @yaspaaa Thanks for wanting to come out brother.

  • I love the honesty and no bullshit. I have huge amounts of respect for you Big J. Keep killing it buddy!

  • @JackoWolves Thanks for the support brother.

  • I wasn't feeling very motivated to work out today...until I watched yr vid thanks a lot Jay!!

  • @MrJoey1498 Always glad to help brother.

  • I admire your honesty and sobriety

  • @minhoak Thanks brother.

  • hey nice vid, just subbed thorugh CampbellFitness, but what do yu mean with intensity? sorry for not knowing what you mean. keep it going

  • @whine11 Thanks for the support brother. INTENSITY=Training Hard Core.....Take no prisoners......leave nothing behind.........All or nothing.

  • Still makin gains!!

  • @minhoak Thanks for the support.

  • Great series Jason

You ans Seth look like a couple Champion Bulls ready to tear some shit up ! And I don't mean yourselves.Would hate to come across either one of you in a combat situation !

  • @johnathanstheater Thanks for the support brother.

  • why do you choose not to ?

  • @mattyoung92 Not to what?

  • Doing those rotator cuff exercises wil improve your pressing IMMEDIATELY! Literally, that session. Everyone make sure you do them!

  • @Louie212121 thanks for the tip, i'll try next time. I used to do them at the end of workout to prevent injuries, but still have left shoulder pain while lifting heavy on pressing movements.

    thank's again brother in iron:)

  • @Louie212121 They help a great deal brother. Thanks for the support.

  • 201th*

  • @ironadio Actually my counter says 199th, Seth's said it was the 200th. Doesn't really matter brother. Is that all you got out of this video????

  • 07:24 RESPECT!

  • @Djanti0204 Thanks for the support brother.

  • @Distrub122334 Why are you doing everything twice/week?

  • @kaysee326 because i rest each muscle 2 days which doesn't leave me sore or anything sometimes but between my splits i rest enough and i feel better for the next day
