what do you suggest i do to read music faster? and slurring sixteenths from aths to 3rds.. then 3rds to 4ths like in Concerto in D major Op.15 by ferdinand Kuchler measures 49 to 51
i bought viola very very similar to violen and it cost me like 150 bucks but u can check like ebay and somne cheap stores and i hear u can get it for lik 100 or 90 dollars
Ive been playing guitar for 7-8 years now, and im wondering, how different is the guitar from the violin? because im really interested in playing, and your the one who inspired me. so just wondering, how difficult would it be for me to switch, if you, or anybody else, that plays both could tell me.
I played guitar for 5 years and then started violin, it does make the fingering a tad easier on violin, but its still quite impossible for about the first month lol
It does take a while to get used to the violin, as it has no frets or anything. Particularly when you go really high, every millimeter makes a difference in the way the note sounds. Add another voice that moves differently than the first voice (like in this arrangement), and it gets exponentially more difficult to play in tune and smoothly. Tack on musicality and dynamics, and you're in for a tough ride! But, it's all worth it in the end, in my opinion :)
that tie is so cute! lol and i loved how peaceful your vibrato sounds! i just found out that id been doing my vibrato completely wrong for years a few weeks ago -_-hhahah
Very cool! I studied at BYU as well with Monte Belknap (who, by the way, is a fantastic teacher and mentor). Best of luck with it -- and remember to enjoy the experience and have fun as you prepare auditions or recitals or whatnot. Violin has become one of the most therapeutic activities in my life, and I'm grateful to have spent the many years improving my playing so I can now enjoy the music that comes out.
Oh my goodness! For some reason, this made me tear up! I've never heard this song before but the title sorta reminded me about my commitment to follow God esp when I'm right in the midst of a spiritual drought.. Thanks for sharing!
That is SO COOL! I wish i could play that well on y violin. I also thought it was really cool u did a church song! That's awesome! Happy Father's Day!
It's true :) Sorry about that -- being engaged is great but sure takes up a lot of time! Definitely worth it, though. Once we're married I can finally stop picking her up and dropping her off every day (although she owns her own car, too, so that helps). Anyways, thanks for watching and remember to honor your father today... and all the time!
Ouh yea , now i remembered Sara , your best friend , Grats on getting married anyway
