As a person who has a classical music background in both vocal and instrumental music, I can say that I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of hearing this. After hearing it, I still think that it's not *my* cup of tea, but you obviously put a lot of work into it and I have a great deal of respect for you because of that. I have to agree w/ @shrikecultist71's take on it. And I have nothing against dubstep either as I have a college-age nephew who's huge into dubstep and trance.

I find it interesting that people see this as a bastardization of the original piece. I think remixes show great admiration for the original work. I enjoy this, I think it is a marriage between the old and the new and it was done well.

nice try. Some of the parts were ok, many were not.  This song is a light march, and you made it pretty heavy and forceful, which really takes away a lot from the underlying feel. The runs in the early part were good though.
