You can fix just any "bad edge" by placing them like he said and doing (Fi Ui F), where green is front. Then fix all of them (2,4 or 6). Right?

i do not understand, why i should make crosses... i thought it was all about the f2l... so if i already have 2x2x3, why not directly jump to f2l, why those crosses... or why crosses, if they will be destroyed within step 3b

so that u are absolutely sure that all ur edges are now correctly positioned for what u do with them next. as far as ive searched this is the most decent tutorial for me but i suggest u watch some other ones to fully understand how the method works

Excellent instruction 5 stars, but one thing you could have done was just videoed your hands and the Rubiks cube so we could see everything that was going on much closer like what Dan Brown did, otherwise awesome videos.

I am so utterly stuck on this step. Any words of advice you can give me? I have the 2x2x3, and red and yellow sides as shown, but I can never make the crosses, and I can never get past this step. I can solve the cube the normal way as per instructions, so Petrus is not beyond my capabilities...

Great series of videos, yours is the only one that I could learn from. I have the basic grasp of the petrus method with f2l around 1 minute which is decent I guess since I have only been at it for a week. However, it would be greatly appreciated if you could post another vid on shortcuts, maybe situations u look for, just anything to help get faster. Maybe a video for an advanced version of lars.
