  • Windows7 previously is the latest version of Microsoft Windows, a highly used series of computer operating systems used in millions of homes, offices, laptops, media centers etc. Dial 1-800-793-7521 for windows 7 OS issues.

  • This is reason why I never buy a mac computer because they suck and also slow in technology. Microsoft always step ahead and this shows you why. Mac users are sure be jealous. LOL

  • i just installed window 7 on my hp-g70 laptop how to use the touch screen?

  • hopefully it will be like a tablet, so it'll be in your keyboard position. looks cool tho. nice to see windows being creative

  • Great; arm ache if it's a conventional desktop and neck ache if you try to avoid arm ache by having the screen positioned low. will microsoft provide free health insurance. me thinks not.

  • there's going to be a fabulous new world of RSI :)

  • Only problem here is that you will get tired in your arms using a interface like this. The touch interface must be on the table where the keyboard is now.

  • I have multi touch :) yay.

  • It´s Windows 7. But i think it´s a first Beta Version of it. See 0:52 / 2:52, it´s the lagoon screen saver, which comes with Win 7.

  • NOT WINDOWS 7, it has the task bar, 7 has the "Super Bar" (all icons, no words)

  • The first Beta version of windows 7 was without the "Super Bar" so this one could be one of them....Vista doesn't have support for touch screen...

  • @sososinelu Im pretty sure 'touch screen's' work in all OS's, just that win7 has native support for stuff like multitouch built into it, wheras xp etc doesnt. The touch part is just moving the cursor and performing a click motion afaik

  • thats not windows 7 it vista with new driver look at the bar i have windows 7 i would make a vid but me computer is not multi touch

  • good

  • Absolutely fantastic. Who's doing the fantastic software? Well...

  • mac vs pc.. the answer is obvious, depends on the individual consumer. if you prefer a stress-free, simple, reliable computer experience and you are a noob, go for mac. If you are a hardcore programmer/gamer/media designer that NEEDS access to the most elite hardware/software and you cant afford to be restriceted by mac os go pc. I've been a hardcore PC fan, then mac, now im back on PCs (thank god).

  • Im a hard Core gamer, i play all consoles, expecialy PC games, witch are the best.

I would go to mac if ALL pc games from the past to the presant and the future would work on macs flawlessly.

  • That is a very good point. If you would be a hard core gamer on a Mac you would need to consider buying a Mac Pro or a G5. The other Mac computers like iMacs are not built to be upgradeable. And as a hard core gamer, upgrades need to be done.

  • yup.

playing crysis on a mac pro would be godlike.

if that big thing wasnt upgradeable, then your screwed in a couple years.

every year goes by and somthing new comes out.

in late 2008, the Intel core i7 processor came out. so now computers are gonna be coming with that.

if i had a imac, i wouldnt beable to upgrade to that processor (witch u cant but u see my point), so im screwed untill i fork over 2K for the same thing but beter stuff.

  • No you wouldn't. Not if you are a hard core, and can't say hard core when you play everything, sounds like just a fanatic casual.

  • 'nuff said

  • dude... ballin...

  • HEY the way i look at it is if someone bashes apple, either they are sore from being fucked in the ass, or they havent used one.

  • dude ur a idiot i didnt bash apple i infact like the macbook i mean im not to much of a fan of the imac but i think its a good computer and also i was making a point

  • HEY the way i look at it is if someone is still using a mac they are too much of a noob to not realize they're being fucked in the ass, or they are lucky enough not to have had to use one.

  • wow wicked

  • I don't think this is really useful for a traditional PC environment. Apple got it right, this is more applicable for hand-held devices/tablet PCs where the focus of the activity isn't necessarily entering data but rather navigating graphical elements in a space-premium environment.

  • O RLY?, lets see if by 2010 you say the same thing.

  • avatarxone:

What's up with those people, right? They can't see that technology is technology, and anything has to be implemented, if it makes the whole thing more effective.

However, Apple has done several really stupid things, just to be different from Microsoft. Like, 1-button mice (what's up with that!?), and the Finder has horrible hotkeys

  • Oh my god so this is the new thing, how original isn't it? if windows is going to imitate apple at least they should do it right, they even have a piano thingy I guess that's another lame imitation of garage band lol. I completely agree with you on your comment and I don't care getting thumbs down, that's what I gave vista, plus thanks to vista I decided to buy my imac and trust me I'm not coming back unless I start missing the viruses and other crap that windows provided me for year and years

  • Don't worry as soon as mac will became more popular there will be more viruses for it too ;)

Viruses are not caused by system itself, its more because of popularity.

  • I agree with you on that, people hates windows for being greedy too, viruses are caused by geeks that hate windows, or any given OPS mainly windows, I used to hate mac because I didn't use one before, once you get to use one and compare them if you're not a gamer, you more likely will love you mac, now intel based macs allow you to play video games. Something is true windows is copying mac on a lot of things the worse thing is that the do it wrong like with vista :(

  • agreed.

  • Oh yeah. Then lets say that Yahoo copied Google with the searchengine and that the founders of the internet copied the internal networking systems. And why don't we just say that Jupiter copied our moon and that the sunflower copied the waterlily with the flowerpetals and that the bee copied the wasp with the wing. FUCK YOU!

  • Calm the fuck down!!! dude! if you really love windows keep using it, nobody is gonna take it away from you, send me your physical address and I'll ship to you my two fucking broken computers with windows operating system, I had used only one apple and I haven't need anything else, no viruses, no bullshit, so there be happy with windows :)

  • I never said I love Windows. I like it, I prefer Linux based OS's and BSD based ones, Macintosh too.

I adore Macintosh OS, I really do, but I dislike people talking bad about Windows, Linux, or in that case Macintosh or BSD.

  • ppl hardly use mac cuz it sux...hardcore computer user would neva use mac cuz it cant handle all the crap which windows does

  • People that use mac just want something that works. Sure windows has more compatible software, especially games but I don't care.. I want my computer to work which with Windows it just doesn't.

Secondly, I tried doing exactly the same thing with a windows computer and a slower mac. Mac is always faster, hell windows needs 5 seconds just to open the volume button, that is just to much.

Quite frankly I cannot see how somebody would know what he is talking about and still prefer windows.

  • what the fuck apple didnt develop multi tuch, multi touch wich is the concept of the ipod touch and ipohne has been around since 01 but it was used by the military

  • syzws - The multi-touch version is optional. BTW, where's your contribution to the world of technology? Your comments are idiotic a best, and show your bias... Oh, and Mr. Gates is laughing at your sorry ass all the way to the bank.

  • that OS is going to replace Vista, wich is nice but... and the consumers that have already laptops/desktops without the Multi-Touch hardware? oh thats right, we have a mouse! yeah, but personnally i prefer to keep my Windows Vista and wait for the Service Pack 2 wich is more cheap than to buy the new OS and multi-touch hardware.

  • Windows 7 is gonna be out until 2010. i don`t think you should have to worry. by then, captive screens and digitizers will be not only common but cheap.

  • I just hope that for people without a touch screen device, this OS is worth it.

  • this video only shows the Multi Touch support, not the OS itself. that is why i added the info comment so it is clearer.

  • In this video you can see some Multi Touch Demo Scenarios running in Windows 7 Milestone build with some MS Surface Demo Apps.

MS Surface Apps are WPF/.NET 3.5 apps and in Microsoft Surface Computer they are running on customized Vista Installations.

In the case of Surface they are controlled by Surface Layer OS Motion Control(*the name is rumored/speculated*).

you can see the names of the technologies that got to do with windows 7 porting of that tech that also powers part of Surface
