I'm a contractor with a class A license and I own a Pulte sciences home in Virginia and it is awesome! I know other who also own Pulte homes in Virginia and they say the same thing. I am super picky when it comes to building materials and construction methods and I was involved in the building of the home from day one and I never saw anything shoddy or done in a way that was not up to spec. Now, I've found that most of the customer service people are douche bags...
Not that I am standing up for any one but I have been around the building industry my whole life, and if you want a well built house it takes more money, money people are not willing to spend. ("you get what you pay for")I strive myself to build "GOOD" homes and cannot bring myself to build them shotty but people just come to me and say they can buy this bigger house up the street for the same price.
Everyone I know who owns one thinks the materials and build quality is very poor and shoddy. I seriously wish I Hadn't purchased one of these overpriced rice-walled jokes!
