  • thats awesome,i live about 30 minutes from danbury,we do a alot of select cutting similar to what these guys do but we use a skidder,but we dont leave the land lookinglike a nuke hit it.

  • I've horse logged all my life and the way this guy's going about it isn't right. The loads he's pulling uphill are too much for the horses. Why doesn't he use a block and cable to reduce the load and allow the team to pull on the level? Guys like this give horse loggers a bad name. The first priority should always be safety and the well being of your animals and this guy's asking for a wreck!
