thats awesome,i live about 30 minutes from danbury,we do a alot of select cutting similar to what these guys do but we use a skidder,but we dont leave the land lookinglike a nuke hit it.
I've horse logged all my life and the way this guy's going about it isn't right. The loads he's pulling uphill are too much for the horses. Why doesn't he use a block and cable to reduce the load and allow the team to pull on the level? Guys like this give horse loggers a bad name. The first priority should always be safety and the well being of your animals and this guy's asking for a wreck!
