part I:
each box has a musical tune in it, when you press the play button it plays, at the end it sends an infra red sigral out the front and if that goes in the back of another box, that box begins to play as well.

it's called a tangible sequencer and was made in Princeton uni by Jeffrey Traer Bernstein. With a computer you can add sounds to them and arrange them into cool beats

Whenever new technology is invented there is always
dickheads who are too braindead from snorting coke who are all too ready to criticize anything they don't understand. Probably in 20 or so years they will have university courses in the tangible fork and the reactible dish.
All I can say is grow up a bit and enjoy the new technology -one day this might be more popular than the electric guitar.

coolshit - it's the fact that it can be done with mere blocks instead of a $2000 computer - AND it can be done in 2 seconds on any sequencer...
IMO - could be a cool childrens toy.. /shrug. Still pretty sweet.
