I always wonder how a clubhead that starts between the shoulders suddenly ends up to the right of the right shoulder when its parallel to the ground. If you would really move shoulders, arms and club without changing anything the clubhead should still be between the shoulders.
You can also see the club made a 90-degree angle to the right and the shoulders about 45-degrees. So the club has been manipulated in the meantime but how?
I personally have found that a gentle lateral shift to the right with the hips, followed by raising the arms and secondary turning of the hips (two piece takeaway) results in a better overall swing that a one piece takeaway. To each his own I guess. Thanks for the great videos.
Forgot one major thing. Start with the major part of your weight on your left leg and when you go back on your swing your right leg should be your anchor. Act like you are drilling your right leg into the ground. Talk about power. I tried it and boy does it work.
I am sorry. You will ruin the kinematic sequence by putting the ball too far right!. Objective Scientific Research performed by Dr. Mann (modelgolf) and the Titleist Performance Institute are concerning this subject completely conform. Putting the ball to the right is a quick fix to compensate a bad kinematic sequence. If your student cannot hit the ball from the left he/she has limitations in her body. big fan of shawn. he has helped me allot with his book i will be getting the video soon. I always swung the club with my arms and they were always close together. Shawns book taught me how to create space between my body and arms and swing or turn the club away with my upper torso.

@swingtrade2 - most instructors teach the ball position more forward, but that's old school teaching.
