US is A German musician who produces music that Maps bears a large resemblance to. He's been around a lot longer than Maps and has produced some excellent stuff. Check out "Between Us and Them" from the album "Far Away Trains Passing By" or "Monday - Paracetamol" from his album titled "A Strangely Isolated Place" for music full of crescendos, rhythmn and soul.

For me though, Maps is the music of the moment. Love it.

Yep. The single of "You Don't Know Her Name" is scheduled for release here in the UK on Monday 13th August on the Mute label. It's a 3-track single with YDKHN, Elouise and Fall Apart (Six Toes Remix). It's available now on iTunes. :)

I think you're right. Maps is just about well established enough to attract a wide audience - especially with the British summer gig season getting underway. Wouldn't surprise me to see this one do very well.
