@inxs1010 and if you get one I prefer the female for a family that isn't so active but naturally for a family that's active and doesn't mind a very big handful I would say the male . These dogs will keep a good memory forever and they are extremely easy to get attached to:) there cute little faces are adorable

@inxs1010 if your still thinking about the dog haha well I have both. Sure can I tell you the males are very very playful and crazy! The female is very laidback naturally just wants to sleep and the females are very kind and polite. They don't beg for human food they eat there own. But for the males forget it they jump ontop of you but in a way it's very cute and entertaining. They both have a mind of its own!

I had the same 2 dogs in my house a Boxer and a Bull Mastiff, we got the bull Mastiff after the we had the boxer for 5 years, so they would fight for being the alpha male and it would be real fights, in one of the fights i pulled the boxer away just as the bull mastiff went to bit it, it bit my arm and i had 13 stitches and we ended up giving away the bull mastiffs because of the fights, but both are great dogs.

thats how mine is too, when they are younger like 1 or 2 years they have so much fight in them it isn't even funny. If my boy knows I am just play wrestling he will fight as hard as he possibly can but if I lower my voice and grit my teeth when I talk he instantly lays down and rolls over, they do everything 110%

Boxers do have tails, they're just often docked, which means humanely cut off near birth (Where it heals much faster, since it's not fully developed.) to prevent Happy Tail. (A condition where the tail whips back and forth so hard that it hits something, breaks, and often has to get docked, but it's much more painful because they're older.)

When my boxer was younger, all the mastiffs at the dog park I took him to loved to play with him. He would run circles round them, and they loved it. One female mastiff (140 pounds or so) once finally got him, blindsided him when he wasn't paying attention, sent him rolling, it was hilarious. Mastiffs and boxers play very well together.

@ryan1111111555555555 what they are probably talking about is a boxer mix; if you mix a boxer with too many dogs it can be very dumb and very headstrong, but it will still have facial characteristics of a boxer. boxers are meant to be bred with rottweilers or dobermans or something like that; not to say any of those dogs are bad breeds, but you can't mix breeds like that. a pure bred boxer would never turn on anyone... unless trained properly as previously mentioned.

@mikejson55 thats why I said it probably wasnt trained properly from a pup, however some dogs are still prone to moments of agression no matter how well trained they are, however i wouldnt say boxers are one of these types.
