Nice presentation! What I find interesting too in what you provided in this video is the diachronic dimension. When father and son argue about the "Nancy" thing, it is worth noting that the father is very anchored in the stereotypical view of the "housewife woman", and the "man the hunter", and the son is more opened to a new vision of role assignment. If ur still interested in the topic, Edward Bernay's is the 'Father of PR' and his ideas, using his uncle Sigmund's theory of the human psyche, was a major influence in how political and commercial campaigns tapped into ppl's psyche.
Also, i have noticed that violence against men is permitted. Eg, I don't think a man could get a way with shoving a woman like Elaine does on Seinfeld. Cheers
