I like to explain why there is no spoiler and autobrake seen i the video; what you see here is a recording of the actual flight, and it was (not wisely) made with FSX ingame recorder. As many of you might know FSX replay often don’t simulate advanced systems correct, and things like reverser, autobrake, spoiler, and even sometimes FMC-data might go missing in the replay. These things randomly remain i the state where the flight is paused. Im sorry for this.

What you really should ask is; “What kind of weird systemfailure did you have in this flight Sir?”
As I’m sure you know there is no “ABS-DISARM light” on approach unless there is a system-failure (ie hydraulic). You just get a subtle text-warning “CONFIG” to remind you to brake manual if no autobrake is selected. I’m also sure youre puzzled about why it sais “AUTOBRAKE – MED” in blue in the video. just explained in last comment :)
@ikkeglemdet DUDE, THE EAD SHOWS SPOILERS, that means you didnt ARMED it.it should be a green box on approach and take off wich says that the -FLAPS-SLATS-ABS-SPOILERS are down and armed.
your ABS is on MED because you are landing in kai tak..you need to set higer then MIN.
Correct, recorded in replay, ABS-warning and missing Spoiler is a FSX replay-bug, as explained.
I’m afraid you got the ABS-system wrong Sir. MD11 have no suggestion for ABS-level, it says AUTOBRAKE-MED in blue because I used Medium when landing. You will get the green-box without Autobrake set, but together with a "CONFIG"-text warning on EAD and Autobrake Off on the SD-display. "MIN" would by the way be sufficient on WHHX with about 3000 feet remaining. Its not a short runway.
@ikkeglemdet It dosent matter that its not a shor runway, always when i land in Kai tak there's winds, so i land a bit further from the threshold, so ABS should on MED.
i understood what you were trying to say now, it will come with CONFIG on the EAD, not a ABS DISARM warning, OK.
But nice landing man, actually one of the smoothest..you have AIRAC updated right? its pretty diffuclt to fly without giving the FMS the destination and FROM. where did fly from on this landing?
I wonder... the description says it's FlyTampa scenery and the city does look like it, but where are the custom runway and taxiway textures of the airport?
