  • Where the nuts really needed? You could tapper a thread through the square section bar, but I guess it was hollow and the wall thickness was small.

  • @Florin888 Yes they are needed. The brass is too thin to thread.

  • What temperature was this soldered at? I'm looking for some tips to solder a brass roll cage for a 1/43 scale model. This looks promising.

  • WOW......i have never seen solder come in a tube like that and it worked out so quick and easy .......so where would soemone get that stuff looks great and what would it be called so i can look for it

  • @scorpionrtg38 I picked that up at Lowes Home Center. It has a stronger bond than regular solder and has the flux mixed in.
