EAV is a misnomer; this is not acupuncture, at least not a clinically defined by TCM. It is not based on 5000 years of clinical experience, as is TCM. It does not use herbal support, as does Chinese/Oriental medicine. It's frankly sad that they are able to use this term, because it's no more closely related to acupuncture than psychic surgery is to western medical surgery.
stdies published in the BMJ and other peer reviewed journals show this method is not valid and is misleading patients; Prof. Ernst of Exeter is also quite clear: misleading patients with pseudoscientific language!
Chinese medicine doesn't use the "Scientific Method" so of course it will not show "valid" according to the BJM "studies". You have to compare apples to apples here to support your statement. Meridians can't be seen, dissected and studied like other anatomy and physiology. Bottom line: acupuncture works very well for me and my patients. Modern pharmacology cannot tout the same excitement because most drugs are toxic and cause a plethora of side effects. For me, I will use only natural medicines.
This video was only made to give a very short impression of Electro-Acupuncture and could never give a complete picture in this short time frame. I would very much like to invite you to visit my website where you can find lots more information about this subject as well as give you an idea what can be done with it.Especially when working with animals it shows beyond the shadow of a doubt that this method works. The results speak for themselves.
This video is a part of electro acupuncture according dr. Voll.(a measuring method) Electro-acupuncture is classical acupuncture needle-stimulation using electricity.
Thank you for this comment. I wasn't aware that there are two different electro acupuncture methods. You are quite correct that this is a measuring method according to dr. Voll.

EAV acc. to Voll is proven to be useless; never a single positive trial has been piublished!

Still this video is incomplete because the EAV method also got a medicine/raw material/toxics/homeopathics/nosode etc. part of measuring.
