I left UK some years ago and was lucky, Wiscombe was a 10 minute drive. Rob Turnbull is a name I remember, and far from being a "noob" is one of the top drivers in UK!!

Rob turnball is a brilliant driver not a noob as you say mate. He qualifies for most of the british hillclimb run offs and im dam sure a better driver than you mate Haa haa

Hi, I was the chief marshal at this event and heard the incident from my marshalling point further down the hill. Many thanks for posting the clip - I had no idea how quickly it all happened. The driver, Rob Turnbull faired very well, and was swearing at his misfortune as he was extracted from the car by the medical team. I dont believe he competed again until a few weeks ago. Dont blame him! The marshals were also all fine - Most of them ended up in a heap on the floor after diving for cover!

That is one hell of a crash!! Glad he is Ok and racing again.

As far as I know driver is ok, bit dazed but walking half an hour later.
Shame as I was hoping to go tomorrow but can't!!
Think that was a one off! Just watch the bridge on the striaght after the start catches a few out!

Oh dear. Im driving at Wiscombe tomorrow and that doesnt fill me with confidence. That must have been Martini, any idea what happened? Driver ok i hope. Well caught!
