hey man. nice work with the bike. i have basically the exact same bike. but i still have the stock half front fairing on it. im looking to get a lower fairing on the bike. would you happen to know where to go to find something like that?
What kind of fool would sell that for a mere $100.00? I could get more than that for the carbs alone.Oh well, his stupidity is your good fortune eh.Nice work on bringing it back to full working order.
Love the vid! I bought a 99 (Canadian) sv650s off craigslist for $1000, perfect cosmetically, just needed a base gasket and reassembly...love the fact you dug in there and fixed it...much respect for that
great video :) its allways nice to see bikes restored to their former glory. i just got my 2001 sv650, was in pretty good knick when i got it, but needed some major cleaning and tlc, otherwise the engine and major components we're pretty sound. putting it back together tomorrow :D
@lilgothgirl29 Thanks a lot! Putting this bike back to my likings was a time consuming process but well worth the effort. if you can send me a video or picture of before and after when finish your bike. I would love to see it.
Nicely done! The SV650 is a great bike, not lacking in horsepower but no too much either. Great fun!
