Brits start fainting when the temperature ranges anywhere below 45 and above 76 F. It's pretty funny actually.

I'm from South Florida and I'm used to scalding heat and smothering humidity. I was in the middle of a good contemptuous laugh at their making a fuss over 81 degrees until I realized that they're probably not using Farenheit. Oops. >_>

@TheBlueorigami Yeah, me too, but 81 C would be 177.8 F, so I think the UK perhaps must still use F in the vernacular?

@palejewel676 UK is the only country in European Union which uses pounds and Fahrenheit

@palejewel676 i think they use F usually, but i mean, it's england. they're used to cold and rain and clouds!

@palejewel676 yeah F is what everyone born up until about mid 1970's would use.

Brits use Fahrenheit and Celsius, depending on which one sounds more extreme in the occasion ;)
I don't think the human body can survive 88°C actually (well, I know mine can't.. I'm of the "OMG more than 25°C will kill me instantly" persuasion)

@leckerwurstbrot A constant temperature of 45 would be lethal for many men...88 is just silly.
