@toxi87 You absolutely must play more than 10 minutes. It took me a couple of days. I bought it, hated it, felt buyers remorse. The next day I all the sudden had this strange urge to play it, it was better. I decided to trade it in though for something I would enjoy more, but I found myself missing it honestly. I eventually bought the game again and now I cannot imagine it not being part of my collection. It is a unique and addicting challenge, its easy to love, but easier to hate.

When you die as a black phantom, you do not lose a stat point. When you die as a black phantom, you lose all of the souls in your inventory, so if you have no souls in your inventory, there's virtually no risk.
If a black phantom dies to the environment, i.e. an NPC attacking you, missing and hitting them, falling off, or from a fire trap or whatnot, THEN the black phantom loses a stat point.
loved this game, lots of hours of gameplay there worth every penny! there is a glitch for like every boss to win easily, if anyone wants to know these leave me a message
@brianakacucuy it's not only better than Dragon Age 2 but it's im my opinion of the best games this gen (PS3 or Xbox wise). There is so much depth to it...just amazing. It's one of the few games which made me read online guides how to defeat bosses, which weapons are better against which enemies, where to soul farm (btw, 4-2 is the best).

The games is amazing but holy shizzit it's tough I'm at a soul level of 49 and I have a tough time with stuff btw the cling ring helps so much while in soul form, your health is only quartered instead of halved so you have just that much more, it's a beautiful thing
@kazzdude1 The difficulty is overstated. If you persist, you will defeat it. Just level up, the class becomes basically meaningless later on. If you don't have spells get soul arrow immediately. Read the wiki.

@kazzdude1 well, I looked online the first time I played and it said 4-1 gives good experience to newcomers. I suggest going there but not straying too far without blue phantoms. Fight the skeletons, but avoid the black skeletons. It's easy to take them out once you find a good strategy and for the love of god fight ONE at a time or you will be destroyed hah hah
Basically, I would say this about Demon's Souls: If you own a PS3, there is no reason you shouldn't get this game. In my opinion, it's possibly the best game on the system. It will kick your ass but you'll love every second of it.

@miguelangel408 Its as long as you want to make it...once you beat it its starts over immediately at a higher difficulty with all the equipment and souls you had in the first run through....took me about 17 hours first playthrough.

One of the best games I ve ever played. (not because of challenge but because of the gameplay). The most difficult are the first few hours with the game - it becomes much easier once you get a decent character). Really recommend this game.

@Levion dude i know what you mean. This game was scary as hell at first. But once you get the hang of it and get stronger it's not as bad. It's just very realistic. One of the best games I've ever played. What i did was just tried to break my fear of dying and focus on learning how to fight better. So I made a tutorial profile and just allowed him to die and die but i focused on getting the controls down. Then i made a new character and It was MUCH better as I knew how to fight.

When this game was released in U.S. I already had it for over 4 months... lol. Anyways, I thought it was really difficult (mostly cause I hate the playstation controller.) Great graphics and gameplay though.

ok. If you like hard games, rpg games, magic, or swords then you should get Demons Souls. Demons Souls may be hard when you first play the game but after awhile it starts to become easier. Demons Souls is so fun that even when I beat the game 4 times I still feel like playing it again, and again. I already spent over 100-hours on Demons Souls. It is worth your money. I HIGHLY recommend Demons Souls.
You can actually make combos, The Kijij sword near the start of shrine of storms can do a 4 hit combo, swing twice as normal then tne quickly switch to 2 handed, use normal attack then strang attack, it can be quite effective with enough endurence and strength!

@zentotoro wtf are you talking about dumbass? the only exclusives a 360 has are halo, gears of war, and left 4 dead. You obviously don't have a ps3 if you think it has no games. It has a lot more exclusives then the xbox and it has all the regular multi platform games that they share meaning ps3 has more games. not to mention free online, Blu ray, internet surfing, and a lot more then the shitbox 360.

Actually Left for Dead isn't a 360 exclusive. It's on the pc as well. Same as the first Gears of War.

When this game was released in U.S. I already had it for over 4 months... lol. Anyways, I thought it was really difficult (mostly cause I hate the playstation controller.) Great graphics and gameplay though.

ok. If you like hard games, rpg games, magic, or swords then you should get Demons Souls. Demons Souls may be hard when you first play the game but after awhile it starts to become easier. Demons Souls is so fun that even when I beat the game 4 times I still feel like playing it again, and again. I already spent over 100-hours on Demons Souls. It is worth your money. I HIGHLY recommend Demons Souls.

You can actually make combos, The Kijij sword near the start of shrine of storms can do a 4 hit combo, swing twice as normal then tne quickly switch to 2 handed, use normal attack then strang attack, it can be quite effective with enough endurence and strength!
