I'm from the USA....and I respect everything you just said....you can tell what's commercial and shit, as to what's real and who's a good lyricist...it's just that there are so many occasional hip hop fans now...it's almost turning into pop....the guys across the pond are killing it right now, people just don't hear it. I do think there is good hip hop in the US, but most of the stuff on the radio is garbage...Only a few guys have been able to stay lyricists and be on the radio.
