  • Thank you for your comments, I have altered the vids as you suggested and am seeing the results already

  • Hi There, Just seen this fantastic Vid! I got a question and a comment for you two (terrafirmajets & Leokimvideo) Ok first, can you tell me which was the engine that was in the old Gazelle chopper think that was a Turbomeca?

Also, Leo I saw a Dart engine for sale on ebay last week, although not a running one I was so tempted to buy it as I really love the old darts. They remind me of the old BMA Viscounts from my youth in the early 80's. Is your's running yet?

  • Hi there,

The engine that was installed in the production Gazelle was the Turbomeca Astazou engine (see my site for the turbo prop version) My Dart is indeed a runner now. However some tooling is required to blank off the prop pitch change oil lines that are buried quite far up inside the prop shaft before it can be run without dupming all of its oil. The Dart on Ebay was battered around a bit. Keep your eyes peeled, there are a few about in good condition.

  • Hi, Thanks for the reply! Just been and had a look at your RDa6, is that one beautiful machine or what! Please, Please put the Dart up on youtube when you get chance, I've not herd one fro years!

  • Hi Hi,

If you need any pointers to get the Dart lit, let me know what mark it is and ill help where I can.

    Paul,
