Nic Offer is an incredibly charismatic man, definitely suits the atmosphere of the band. And just because it isn't exactly the same vocal performance as on Louden Up Now, that doesn't mean it's bad. Just means it's different, and they're doing something different well. Lovely performance of Yadnus on here by the way, do want to hear it when I see them in Glasgow later this year.

I'm reminded of Jim Morrison (whether you all agree or not is your own business), except that the singer hasn't anything really to say. Good stage presence and energy but too spasmatic. So like Paula Cole says (sort of), "where have all the rock shamans gone?" Where has the poetry gone? Its a pity really because its such a groovy jam. They should dump the singers.
