i have a question.

im more into the christian metal scene, bands like Haste the Day and Miss May I are my thing. but i always hear people talking about how their lyrical structure is degrading and not praising at all to God, even though the lyrics are incredibly powerful and full of praise and love.

It's probably just a matter of opinion, like these people dont prefer that type of music. Is the vocal style degrading? is it not praising god?
