But I still have one question: Should I worry about the battery when liquid comes over the keyboard inside the notebook? Or would the liquid routed away before it comes to near that it can be dangerous?

you are quite right. Alas we had quite the enthusiasm about pouring water on the laptop and forgot to turn it on during the shooting... Nevertheless it worked flawlessly later on.
