i have got the MBA 2010, and I really enjoy using it. but have had a little trouble using the remote disk for dvd, could you please make a video about that? Thanks for all the good videos :)
Hi, I'd like to know if the drive sharing feature of the MBA is for reading only or is it both read and write? Suppose if I create a DVD movie in imovie on my MBA can I use the DVD drive on my desktop PC to then burn the disc? Thanks for the reply.
@joeybaby1999 Sometimes you get a better warranty this way, also allows you to re-use previously owned drives, plus it saves money on some occasions too.
Coolio,I don't understand why apple only went with 128 & 256 gb of storage, for the price that you pay i would expect to get a lot more for the money TBH,but then in another sense external addition's such as this HDD are so common these day's and also affordable to compared to having a HDD a few yrs ago it was near impossable to get such high capacity's,I like custom enclosure's as well, they offer so much choice,Great video dave,Well done :)
@HLM190586 Hey before you start posting coments like this you need to check your spelling first of all,Whats "stogae" ? if you mean storage, then yes i know the MBA is "Flash" Based,I'm not comparing 5400rpm or 7200rpm Normal HDD's to the newer SSD HDD's,i'm am talking about when Normal HDD's came out some years ago they were very expensive just like SSD's are now,so where in my comment am i comparing anything ?
This is not an UPGRADE it's just a disk attached to a MBA!. I thought I gona see some screws floating around.

I visited xbench site and noticed that the xbench software hasn't been updated since 2006.
Will the benchmark accurate compared to other newer PC-only benchmark softwares?

This Macbook uses flash stogae.
Please dont compare 256GB HDD to 256 SSD, the price differences is too great.
