I know realize that this game is good because awhile ago I turned it in but now I sit here watching videos of the gameplay wishing I could just pick up and play..will definitely rebuy.

Thebat991 about the wolf companion. He is a Mabari, one of the dogs that fight in the first major battle, you have to talk to his stable master about him being sick, then u can get a sidequest to find the herb to heal him. Get it and he will join your party If u want him to the first time you travel on the world map. I haven't played the game very far but the only items you can equip him with are a collar and a type of war paint.

Who or what is your Wolf Companion that you have? The second icon under your character's. I have never seen it before. Is it a character from a DLC?

@IEvoIL If you haven't made your decision yet i recommend you to buy Demon Souls, high quality game and hard as hell. You could give a try to Resonance Of Fate too, excellent game and unique combat system for an RPG.
