i have a 06 6.0, i had the headgasket problems but studded it and shes fine, also deleted the egr and have a sct tuned by innovative diesel and wouldnt own anything else, anyone with any knowledge about diesels must respect the cummins, but the chassis they come in is what i dont like, a ford with a cummins is the ultimate truck
hey is is dies after ten minutes it due to not getting enough fuel or your glow pugs are bad!!! if u live in a cold area then its glow plugs!!! do not go to the frod dealer ship for a repair they rip you off!!! go to a good mechanic!!! do not let them reflash the computer they take about 50hp away!!! they did it to mine!! i had to get it reflashed and it ran amazing!!just get new glow pugs make sure ur injectors are good and ur getting fuel!that will slove ur problem.and bosch glow pugs are ok.
Hi there I looked at a 2004 F-350 Crew Cab Dually 6-Speed. I had some issues first glow plugs and it would run for 10 minutes then die and be really hard to restart the engine can you tell me what this is thanks. I would like to know what your email address is please thanks. WOULD BOSCH DURATERM GLOW PLUGS be better for starting the 6.0L Power-stroke v8> It hesitaters when restarting so if you know what-this is tell em thanks
is this truck a 2005 F250 Crew Long Box Truck. The 6.0 L Powerstroke maximum speed is 4200-RPM. I wish they had kept the 7.3 made it with EGR Valve 4-Valves PEr Cylinder, Common Rail Direct Fuel Injection. Plus a Variable Geometry Turbocharger it would be better than the 6.0 if ford had done this. thanks
joejoe133 to let you know it's not a diesel 3500 max. It's a ford f250 6.0L. I recently put on an afe stage 2 intake and a straight pipe exhaust from the turbo back i'll try and put a video clip of that as well. you'll see what the difference is.
Sounds to Trucky for my taste.... but then it is a truck. Oh well, it's probably just me... being a Brit i prefer the smooth big European diesels. But still, it sounds fantastic... muscle diesels all the way..

lol the 7.3 will not turn 6500 rpm

the 7.3 is better. the 6.0 only has 4500rpm's and the 7.3 has 6500rpm's!

would have been a cool video if it was the 7.3

Ford doesn't make a V12 diesel for 3/4 ton or 1 tons.
