my great grandmother is Rahera Raharuhi who begat Hare Mane-Wheoki who begat Helen Wheoki then me. mum didnt know her ngati kuri side her dad died when she was only 9. she never met her grandmother Rahera. thank you for this post.

This is beautiful, i never knew my ngati kuri whanau, my great grandmother is Rahera Raharuhi (Lazarus) she begat my grandfather Hare Mane-Wheoki who begat my mother Helen Wheoki and then came me(Annah Habib). Hare died when my mother was only 9, (she is 60 now) so she was brought up by her mother's people, Tuhoe. She did not know anything of her father, or grand parents. I have started to research for whakapapa for her and have gotten this far. Thank you for posting this beautiful gathering :)
