Progressive Insurance DOES SUCK!!! I've had them about 25 years, and yet when a woman hits me where I am stopped (she was talking on the phone and looking off to the side even - I watched her approach and slam into me), they paid her and upped my rates because it was more profitable. They didn't even tell me they did it - I got to find out a year after I'd been paying them. Note well the cop on scene said the driver would have been charged if not on a private lot, so she couldn't charge anyone.
Appreciate all of your comments. Progressive's Car Insurance Policy appears to be nothing more than a pyramid scheme in which those Corporate Executives at the top get richer and richer while injured policyholders are left without medical care. It is nothing more than taxpayer subsidized profits for Corporations such as Progressive.
Corperations and INSURANCE companies PAY INTO the CAMPAIGN funds for politicians running for president. Hillary, Obama..republicans too will LIE TO YOU and tell you they will tax the rich and make a social medical system...they know in the hearts they CANNOT do that because of WHERE their money comes from.....but they want YOUR VOTE....so they LIE TO YOU NOW!
Don't be foolish, Republicans AND Democrats lie to us. All of them. Every last mothersonofem'. So what do we do? Pitch out our current 'leaders' and instill conditioned men and women who are of high integrity and moral value who can right the wrongs of those corporations that have gone wrong and through negligence, put to death and suffering, hundreds of their policy holders.
Who is more foolish, me for understanding that politicians are immoral liars and corrupt and there could never be a good social medical system until things truely change or are you foolish for just buying into the first concept of a social program?

The government needs to abolish the insurance system and regulate a government insurance program, BUT not for medical care.
