Pelicans where meant to be actual drivable vehicles, same with phantoms.

Bungie even added a sitting animation for pelicans.

Im sure you know the easter egg where you can fly a pelican or phantom?

Why is there animations linked PERFECTLY to the way it flys?

That's not a glitch, that's an easter egg. Why would bungie put all that detail into the inside of a pelican we "shouldn't" see?! All we do is deliver a core to it! it's definetley an easter egg. There was detail in the seats, floors and the overall design

my friend and i were driving in a pelican in the campaign and we also drove around in the phantom and we were able to ride in it so it was pretty cool

Hmmm... Although you can't stay there for longer than 10 seconds... You can still explore the Pelican in theatre mode. So... pretty cool.

But then again you can always play Invasion then after the match go into theatre and fly to the Pelican after it goes within the map...

@th1s1smag3 Wait for some time, and you might get your wishes come true! It's take me some time to upload that b/c of timer on my xbox and lack of render minutes. But there is one way to walk freely around in a pelican. But not that one as far as I know.
