  • @teddinax Yep! Thanks! :o)

  • reminds me of doc watson. he has a pretty good version that instead of the three finger merle travis style is only two for him. somehow he makes it work extremely good. nice playing man

  • @themusicianism Thanks!

  • This reminds me of the time I met Brozman :D

Steve gave me some advice on how to play this song. I still don't know how to xD

  • @OQWIKCombatArms Very cool!

  • You should call yourself something different...something like....chilledouttutor or something. You make it fun to learn because you don't rush the job, and it's great how you do that.

  • how do i download tabs from site? =O

  • I like that you filmed this outside. Love the sounds of summer in the background.

  • Me too!

    The cicadas were loud! lol

  • to print the tabs first you need to grab a pen....then a sheet of paper...make some lines.then just play and pause and write untill you got it all.lol.i know thats not what you are lookin for but it works i do it.

  • Hi, great lesson, can anyone tell me if there is a way to print out the tabs for this lesson?

  • Many thanks, great site

  • Please excuse me i put up some bad info it was mike seager, petes brother who discovered ms. cotten and though i know i heard a story while on tour wikipedia says she played both banjo and guitar backwards upside down...many blessings ...SMR

  • did you know that E. Cotton played the guitar upside down left handed and the banjo she played normal also she was discovered by pete seager and had been his cleaning lady for some time when he accidently came across her playing the banjo ( i think) in the studio while she was supposed to be cleaning. he was amazed at what he heard and switched on the teac recorders she was i believe 61 yrs old when seager walked in the room Ms. C was embrassed for not cleaning and quickly apoligized! SMR

  • I also heard that once she was working and and found a young girl who got lost and so she returned her home and for a reward she got the job in the Seegers house next month. She was working there for years and after couple of years they discovered her virtuosity in guitar. The young girl was a sister of Pete Seeger

  • a lot of thnx
