we made much bigger houses and we didnt need (or use) a tinfoil box inside.. ALL of our house was edible. nothing fake.. but I guess if your worried that it will fall over or wont stick together right, using an inside base is the way to go.. (even if does seem like cheating..lol)

our schools food studies class was making gingerbread houses lol and i snuck in to help :P
my friend jessica was havin a hard time so i helped her make her house look bricked by drawing little rectangles with the icing in little groups all over the walls while leaving space between each bunch. (1-3 brich per bunch)
it looked AWESOME. seriously. we would have PWN'D if there was a contest in our class

in my culinary class, we had a compition on gingerbread houses. It was a great experiance, i have never done a ginger bread home and i won :P
