Ahhh real shame there Dan..still your just about there on the two flight attempt and recovery..is your next build going to be exactly the same as coyote or are you trying a different rocket design...james
Oh the Coyote Rocket is 95% there! I'm not going to give up on it just yet ;-) I am making a few changes for next launch, a different body material, a new connector for the piston, a more reliable parachute folding and rigging technique and different video camera placement. The next thing I need to work on is the spin issue. There's lots of work but that's the fun of experimental rocketry. The rockets are cheap so making a new one is easy and not too hard on the wallet.
very unfortunate, but its like you say, in hobbies like this, if everything went right all the time, you wouldnt advance and the interest would fade as their wouldnt be any clear goals?!
@superrocketfreak I wrote a book on how to do it step by step. You can find it on amazon under my name Dan Pollino. Hope that helps.

Were you able to get the video from the camera?
jasongiddensviper478 2 years ago
Only the first flight because we downloaded it to a laptop while we were putting the second engine. After the crash it was wasted. Oh well.
