Actually he can, you can buy a braile bar that allows you to read stuff, so all he has to do it now where to go to navigate to the comments and highlight it.

Well, I learn songs very fast but I do play them allot. I can learn songs within just a few times of hearing them. I was playing these songs for quite awhile before I recorded them.

very musical unlike most. solid dynamics and light technique. relaxed is good, but you have to do something about your head. if you play live like that, you'll get embarrassed and most importantly, you won't be able to "communicate" with the others in the band effectively.

I don't play like that in the band. I'm very alert to what is going on when I play with a band. I'm visually impaired(blind) and play in a cage so I have to pay attention allot. I play like that in my room because I'm kinda isolated in the headphones and have nothing to pay attention to lol

K series are prolly the best zildjian series, plant z are beginner zildjian cymbals, K are very pricy and planet z are very cheap, unless your talking about Z customs, they're pricy too

I started when I was like 2 so I really don't know how to teach anyone. I can just say watch other drummers and learn the basics. Work up a practice routine then do it as much as you can.

did you read the rest of the comments or just want to ask a stupid question. Being partially blind doesn't mean I have no vision, it just means I do not have full sight. I have a very rare form of vision impairedness that the doctors don't fully understand. I can't see well enough to drive or see a black board in a classroom, btw, I'm in my fourth year of engineering school. I don't think its amazing to be able to do normal stuff but I know how I am. Other are different. Sorry to be rude.

thanks for the complement.  But I'd like clarify. Just because someone is blind doesn't mean they can't play drums. if your comfortable at your drum set, you SHOULD be able to play with your eyes closed. Vision has nothing to do with hand-foot coordination.

I hate to tell you but Paramore doesn't fall into the groove category. I know how to play in a groove because its what I've done my whole life. I know how to play cymbals too. these songs are full of them so don't say I'm over use them. I'm not a rock drummer so I might not play them like everyone would.

Here is my point, so many drummers are trying look a certain way when drumming. I'm not. I'm actually legally blind so that really doesn't seem to matter to me. I'm not a typical drummer and will never be. I don't take offense to any of your comments but I'd wish people would realize drumming is more about sound. but in your defense... The cymbals thing, plaidretena your wrong, cymbals are used differently in different styles, like some use the top some use the edge. So its not incorrect, just a different style. And i cover both these songs (no vids) and he isn't over using cymbals... Paramore's drummer use alot of cymbals, go listen to the actual versions and hes playing it correctly... Maybe a few extra high hats at points but thats to make it his own version.

Cobus is very good at what he's doing and I think he can rock with the best. The funny thing is, I'm just recording these with $700 camera. No mics. I put sound systems in professionally so I know how to put mics on a set so I need to get some and a usb mixer.
