Allan, what is going on with you? There is a video you have explaining that the original Language is NOT GREEK but HEBREW... Now you are saying that it is greek please explain why you are changing up, because THE WORD MUST NOT CHANGE and another thing you mentioned that The Hallelluja Scriptures is the most accurate and now you say its good to have the ampliffied version and basiclly dependable...... What's Up Allan?
@alweezn2sumtin Sorry for the confusion. The original language is *not* Greek but Hebrew/Aramaic, it's true. But the only reference we have, up till now, has been Greek manuscripts. I'm finally getting a copy of the entire New Testament in Hebrew/Aramaic this weekend and will be doing a video about it on my WatchAlan channel.
The HalleluYah Scriptures are best ... however, we are blessed to have other versions like the Amplified for *more* clarity!
@alanhorvath9 Note: There is *NO* single version of any Bible in the English language that does a perfect job. That is why I always go to the original Hebrew and try to clarify, to an English speaking audience, as best I can.
Understand: The Old Testament has always been known to have been originally penned in Hebrew. The New Testament has always been thought to have been originally penned in Greek ...
@alanhorvath9 I have *always maintained that Hebrew/Aramaic was the case in both testaments and now that truth is coming to light.
Watch for my videos about the AENT (Aramaic English New Testament) appearing on my WatchAlan channel; I'll probably be posting the 1st one this weekend.
PS: You would do well, also, to go to my WatchAlan channel on YouTube and watch my "WatchAlan 101" video series!
The menorah, the ancient seven armed candelabrum was the distinctive religious Jewish worship symbol… "Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand)” Matthew 24:15 (6 vs. 7!!!!)
@hollyannblss I don't know ... we could speculate all sorts of meanings and find truth in it all. But why bother? The Word is what we want, not worldly knowledge.
@mattyarnott1 Speculations are endless. He will be revealed at the proper time and then everyone will know who he is ... I don't think I'll be here when that happens and knowing who he is beforehand doesn't seem to offer anything useful that I can think of.
Question: Was Revelations written in Greek or Hebrew. John the beloved was a fisherman, who probably related in Hebrew. Could it have been written in the language he spoke instead of Greek.
@Daphdong1 Most will insist that most of the New Testament books were written in Greek. I, however, insist they were all written in Hebrew and immediately translated into Greek (the common language of the day). If it was considered blasphemy to speak any language other than Hebrew/Aramaic in the synagogues, certainly it would have been the same when writing the inspired Word of Yahweh.
@alanhorvath9 but is there surviving whole text of New Testament in Hebrew/Aramaic? Second, is the translation as holy as the real one? Further, since there will never be a 100% accurate translation, how we can grasp the true meaning ?
@soerism Seek it and you *will* find the Truth. There are *many* ways of seeing that the Greek was, indeed, translating Hebrew text; for example, the Greek texts attempt to translate many Hebrew-isms that can not be comfortably done in Greek, revealing that the Greek text was not original. And why would it be? **Everything** about YHWH and His children points at Israel and no other ... even the Gentiles are grafted into Israel.
My understandings of language translation is that "interlinear" is merely a denotation. Many other factors produce a translation: connotations, rhythm, imagery, concreteness, parallelism
Hebraisms, etc. Just as there is a lot more to music than notes!
But a denotation does shed some light as does a dictionary. Always good to hit the dictionary first! Never heard of that crazy cult! Walid Shoebat has a very interesting take on 666, the Islamic former PLO guy, now a believer!

THE MARK OF THE BEAST IS:
6 pointed star
6 mini triangles surrounding
6 sided hexagram
The so called STAR OF DAVID!
