  • Hi phil! thanks for reply. Anyway i just got my macbook pro yesterday i love it! and i'm happy for this product, all you said was right. thanks. maybe i'm gonna post the unboxing that i edited on imovie. godbless ;-)

  • @jakelights hey Jake - would love to see your unboxing video and your excitedment at getting your new MacBook Pro! I think you are gonna love it - they just released an updated version of iLife 11 and I think it's free or less than $10 if you purchased your Mac in October so be sure to go the Apple website and check it out!

  • Thanks for the review. this is exactly what im looking for, actually we have some same situation, i;m thinking of switching to mac, because of my ipod touch, And i'm also doing some video editing in Vegas, and of course i wanna know some feedback on garage band coz i'm also doing a lot of audio editing.. Btw. Thanx for your Video for some guides and enlightenments, Have a nice day.

  • @jakelights Anway, i'm also thinking of buying a mac... thanx again for this video..

  • @jakelights Hey Jake - thanks so much glad you found the video helpful. You can view part 2 which I recently posted as well. Also check out my blog. I will be sharing a lot more tips and info about making the switch.

From your description it's crazy how similar our tech journey seems. Checked out your YouTube channel and really enjoyed the music - high and tight! I think you and your band will absolutely LOVE GarageBand!

  • @theanywhereoffice Yah i've watched it after watching this vid. Thanks anyway, great channel. Very helpful and informative. Keep it up my friend. anyway i cant wait to buy a new macbook pro. especially th Garage band, i use the Mixcraft for audio recording before, that close to garageband, but there's some latency issues. Anyway can i record multichannel using my m-audio fast track? thanks

  • @jakelights Thanks Jake! I think you should definitely be able to record multi channel with the m-audio. I have a Lexicon Omega but haven't actually tried hooking it up yet. Recently bought a Blue Yeti USB Mic - thing of beauty. Great for doing vocals, podcasts, and music tracks. Recently tested it jamming with my brother and friend using the stereo setting and it sounds awesome! Will be posting a video of us jamming soon.
