@AllofVideos Place it on sand, which is on tnt. Below the tnt, put a ladder on a wall or something. That way, you step on it, you fall, the sand gets destroyed by the ladder.

That can be used as a castle booby trap. Put some TNT under the entire castle and put pressure plates in the places that you want secure. The pressure plates go through redstone to a red torch which warns you of an intruder, then you take your valuables and pull a switch far from the castle that will detonate

I Gotta remember that one, wow, just wow. This is the almost perfect trap ever!!! (For perfection: use obsidian instead of glass, they need at least 15 seconds to mine out, they got 5 seconds... (UBER PRO TIP: You can jump and build dirt to save yourself)

@Xykon9 no it doesn't you would have to put TNT down then sand or gravel then pressure plate. because there was a patch that stopped pressure plates being put directly on TNT.

Use obsidian, then you wont need water, making the TNT more effective, since obsidian is hard to destroy with TNT, and TNT against water reduces the damage done to the player.

I love how you have the water set up so it drags the TNT away from the player... that's why you didn't die. Twice.

Also, the glass is obviously for demonstrative purposes so that we see better in the video. If you build this in SMP ofc use furnaces or obsidian to trap the player.
