Totally addicted to this song, cannot stop listening to it. Very few songs actually have this much replayability, great lyrics, great melody, can't wait to hear this one in concert. Mat just keeps on getting better and better!

I love this song, I think it is totally awesome. I especially like the effect that the guitar has that "down in the well" echo. (Like on the theme for Bonanza) Great job Mat!

This isn't terrible but it's not his best. My favorite of his songs are City of Black and White and Annie. There's nothing special about this one. He's an amazing artist though.

I just remembered hearing this on Grey's and as soon as it came on I turned the volume way up and I screamed, "Oh my god it's Mat Kearney!"

@spurpop I feel those are all gems that made NLTL amazing. I'm a fan of all his music, whether it be rap or folk. The only one I usually hit skip on is Annie but for a while, I'd hit skip on Crashing Down and Wait. Now I LOVE them so maybe Annie will grow on me over time.

song feels like the rhythm of a train ride. "trains" in the lyrics too. a somber and sobering melody. just in time for the cold weather. i like everything this guy does.
