@KeithWasHere1 "ONLY 90 BUCKS??? WOW!" Yeah, but to be honest I have never flown any other type of flybarless, they may be much better, I just have no way of comparing.
ok whats the best place to buy parts from..cause im having a hell of a time finding the stuff i need for my bird (Hk600gt)..hobbyking? xhelic? helifreak?...any help is appreciated.
@KeithWasHere1 "Best place to buy parts from" I don't have a 600, but I buy most of my 450 parts from Hobby King directly, but that takes forever to arrive and they are often out of stock on small parts. So, I also buy from HeliDirect (buy the Trex branded parts, most of them fit), I've had good experience so far: HeliDirect(dot)com
Yes that is what I am running in this video: "325mm Fibreglass Main Blade" from Hobby King. PRODUCT ID: FG-WB-325. Less than $4 per pair, can't beat that price. Maybe the special "flybarless" blades are supposed to be better? I don't know I've never flown the special "flybarless blades".
Hi. I have a question about the HK flybarless head. I have a T-rex 450 V2. What other parts do I need to convert to this head? I heard I'll be needing a 450 Pro feathering shaft and dampeners. Anything else? Swashplate?
@tonyastro "What other parts do I need to convert a T-Rex 450 V2"
It has been a while so I cannot remember exactly but I _think_ this FBL head requires a "Pro" style (longer) feathering shaft, not sure. The swash-plate and everything below it stays the same on your Heli, but the linkages, ball-links & other stuff above your Swashplate gets changed-out with this new head. It is a copy of the RJX rotor head. Hobby King Product: DMDL-450FBL; Look on Hobby King website, read reviews for more info.
Thanks for your help. I like the Hyperion, but is expensive for me. What do you think about this servos? GWS Naro Super 19g / 3.6kg / .07sec Digital Servo. I bought a large size servo frame for my 450pro, because little servos are more expensive than 15 to 20g servos
I don't know, I only have experience with a few servos, never heard of those. Suggestions:
(1) Search for those servos on HeliFreak and/or RcGroups Forums, if no info already then post a question on those forums they can tell you if they are good or junk.
(2) Be careful to buy good Cyclic and Tail servos. See my other video: I had a servo failure once while flying it led to a bad nose-dive crash, expensive and time-consuming to repair.
@honorebalzang For cyclic I am using Hyperion Atlas DS11-AMB. They seem to work good. I don't know if these are necessarily "the best" they are just what came with the Heli (I bought it used). Be careful: when you go Flybarless, Servo's need to generate more force (no help from Flybar anymore) so you need powerful servos that are also fast. Otherwise your controls are sloppy. Servos that are Fast AND Powerful -> "not cheap". Money for good servos is money well spent.
can this be used for something that walks?...like a droid or robot design?

Can you use regular 325mm blades on a FBL 450 or do you need special FBL blades?
