Who's on Keyboards? Eddie Kulak was the touring keyboard player from 1984-1990 but that lad doesn't look like him. Also looks a bit like Guy Fletcher from Dire Straits who did the keys on the Knife album. Failing that possibly Bernie Clark? Anyone?
Estimated friend, if you want to listen again this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - looks for his direction URL in Google ( search Musica para Mimos in Google)-. best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is great, is very good ...!!!
Roddy started singing too early. Check out the keyboard player. He had to cut the xylophone sounding keyboard intro short at the beginning of the song.
but what is that awful noise that obscures most of the guitar solo? More synth problems? It sounds like random noise or snare hits stuck in a delay line or sampler, from 3:46 to 4:17.
It looks like it spooks Roddy when it first comes in, and his solo sort of degenerates.
Yes, first time I've see him perform without a guitar. Not my favourite album but a cracking song - it's a shame the sound is so muddy. Thanks a million for posting though.....!

Great song, great songwriter, great guitarist,

Yeah it's probably the synth. That particular model had serious sampler compatability issues and was eventually recalled.

Not wishing to be a nerd, but It wasn't a synth, it was an old fashioned hammond organ - thus a mechanical failure made that noise.

Always seems like sacrilege to see Roddy without a guitar - good as the other bloke obviously is
