You got that light off ebay didn't you? The best UFO is a "Illuminator"... they say it right on the face of the light. If this doesn't work out for you don't get discouraged with the technology! (stay away from stuff made in China)

Are you kidding me with the tin foil? You should try to get your hands on some Mylar, or at least some black and white panda sheets. Also if its possible, you should try collecting rain water to feed the plants with.. Very rich in nitrogen as it absorbs it from atmosphere (notice how outdoor gardens thrive after a good storm?) Just some things to consider, good luck with your grow friend!

i have one of these lights too i really like it a lot. try lowering your lights though they'll grow even faster if its only about 4 or 5 inches above your tallest plant..they don't emit any heat so dont worry about burning
cfls are great i have grown with those with great success but i notice the ufo seems to be working just as good even a lil better im yet to see if the ufo will do good during flowering stage tho but i dont think its a waste time sounds like u bought some really cheap leds first off the l.e.d. panels are no good they only produce around 13watts and i havent seen any panels that use bridge lux l.e.d.'s those are the best! so i recomend cfl's if ur on a budget!
